well how the mechanic told me, there was a thin strip of iron near the magnet..he said he wud rub it fine and make a few arrangements which wud make the spark go early..i wud get the info and post it asap..also i consulted him regarding the camshaft change..is the head of extreme and unicorn the same??also if the valves are the same, then there shouldn't be a prob if i replace..
can i get sum idea regarding the valves and the head?

AFAIK, camshaft is a direct fit. No need to replace any other parts. Maybe others can confirm this. Let us know regarding the timing.

Actually there is a similar hall sensor inside the stator coil area too for timing purposes. Don't know which one his mech is referring to!
