I'm using a 117.5 size main jet on my P150 with a K&N. The stock size was 107.5. I'm still using the stock pilot jet. Will changing the pilot jet to 180's improve the throttle response? Also, does any Bajaj model have a higher size jet than 117.5? I heard that the Avenger 200 uses a 127.5 size main jet. Can anyone confirm this?

I'd rather get a Bajaj part because it's easier to order. No one seems to stock Karizma main jets here in Trivandrum, and no one will order one either, even if I offer to pay the full amount up front. But the Bajaj guys were willing to order it, and even called me up when it arrived.
This sig made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. And if you don't know what that means, you're not old enough to. :D

did u mod the jet OD? coz I belive the float chamber of unicorn is bit small n narrow which is only for small size "OD" jet. Mikuni jets are fitting in that? For keihin, mikuni, mikarb = I have 120, 130 till 200....but in a range of 0.10 +, soon I'll be making middle size jets, just waiting for some thingss...

I need the full mod description and details about ur bike, so I can talk about jetsss.
I forgot about zma MJ size... send me pm...

^^ If you can get the main jet only, its around 50 bucks, else the set of main jet + jet holder + pilot jet costs around 150 bucks.

                        Hi Everyone,

Pls advice , i have a pulsar ug2 . Is it ok to upjet to karizma main jets.
Can this be fitted directly to the carb. Or any other alternatives available.
                        Will think of K&N later.

oem jets for pulsar 150 classic

Guys this is not a query on upjetting. its actually about downjetting. I bought a pulsar 150 classic 2002 model(non dtsi)2nd hand, a couple of years back with my pocket money. Now i have barely ridden it for 2000 kms ever since mainly because it was in such a bad state and i didnt need it for commuting. Now i could never get the tuning right on this thing. The average on it was 35 before an engine rebuild i did myself(well just to learn i opened up and closed my first engine) Now its 45 with perfect compression

Now the bike is running very rich, the spark plug says so and no amount of adjusting of the screw on the carb changes that.

I am assuming that either the jet is worn out or in the quest for performace the previous owner upjetted it.

Now i do have the pulsar ug3's workshop manual and parts list thanx to
abhijeet080808 but that only has the jet size for the ug3 which doesnt have the same bore as the classic. The classic was a 143 cc while the later pulsars were somewhere around 149cc so its supposed to have a smaller jet than all later pulsars. Does anyone know the exact jet size for the classic pulsar?

There is no point asking the shop keepers, unless u tell them the jet size they hand me the jets for later pulsars.

So guys please help me out

                              ^^ AFAIK,
                              P150 Classic - 113.5
                              P150 UGII (DTSi) - 107
                              P150 UGIII - 113.5

Others may correct if this is wrong.

i thought since the pulsar 150 classic is 143 cc while the later ones are bigger , it should have smaller jet but that could also depend on the carb venturi size. Are the carbs on all 150s the same?

this is the main jet right? and do you know about the pilot jet?
