  • 2T Oil mixed n petrol.. 220FI got screwd..

Hey guys plz help me out.. Recently ive finished my 1st paid service at 12k kms within 4months. i use to tour a lot.. so average of 3000kms per month.. recently after service i felt there is lot of lagging in power if i rev high.. then i thot it must be fuel filter block or air filter block..Then i went to PBK chennai to chekup.. after one hour check they finally told there is mixture of 2t oil in the petrol .. they have fully removed the fuel and replaced.. stll i felt the lag.. they told when you run more kms it will become normal. is that the solution.. plz help me..

I am not sure if this can be done, But Can its be De-Carbonized??? Usually its suggested to decarbonize a engine after 10000kms.

                  Use a fuel injector cleaner.
Add it to petrol. See if it gets better.

                    its Bardahl ...

many PBKs keep Bardahl fuel and engine oil additives...if the injectors are clean, fuel filter is changed, air filter changed etc then are you sure there hasnt been any kind of deposition in the engine due to the burning of the 2T oil??

@Vicky: Head to Stella Maris BP bunk in Nugambakkam. Buy a whole bottle of Iftex System G. The guys at the petrol filling station usually have it. Use that bottle for the next few tankfuls of petrol, usage is about 1ml of Iftex per 1L of petrol.

But chances of them not having the whole bottle are high, but they do stock sachets of it, so either buy them or use the sachets then and there.

-Is there smoke coming from the exhaust when you rev the bike in neutral?
                      -Change your fuel filter.
-Ask them how did they know that there is 2T oil in petrol? As in how did they exactly detect its 2T oil.
-I am not sure but if possible get the fuel pump cleaned.
-For the next 500 odd kays don't rev the bike to hard.

Praful, it is not 'System G'. It is "Iftex System 23". System G is for petrol cars. If you go and ask System G, they will most probably give you the one for cars. I regularly use in my car. BTW, System D is for diesel cars.

Ravi, it is System G. System 2/3 is for carb'ed vehicles.

System G is more oriented towards Fuel Injected vehicles.

Check this too IFTEX OIL & CHEMICALS LTD.

I do not know whether System G can be used in two wheelers. I do not exactly know why there are two different products for cars and bikes. But, System G can be used in carbureutted engines also. Read System G information carefully.

Did I not already provide that link to System 2/3 in my post....

I did not say System G is not for carbs, its clearly mentioned that it can be used for both. But no where is it mentioned for System 2/3 that it is to be used for FI vehicles.
