  • Fazer upgrade for FZ16 ??

Fz16 looks sweet! But I love the looks of Fazer even more . I was thinking if Yamaha has some official upgrades for FZ16 to make it a Fazer. Any ideas? Will Yamaha introduce that option for FZ16 owners? How about the bike customization shops, how much do you think they wil charge for such an upgrade?

It should be possible , you will have to see the fairing mounting points on the Fazer and try to Fix them on ur Fz to put the fairing .

AFAIK the T is different for the Fazer....
Should be a reasonably expensive mod///!

Anything and everything is possible, it is the imagination thats the limiting factor.

I kinda knew this thread would come up

Fazer looks like a hybrid of R15 and Fz16. R15 fairing would be a good looking mod.

Even i have FZ 16 n wanted to upgrade it to Fazer wit d front fairing. I had been to Pacer Motors in bangalore this morning n enquired abt it. The guy told dat sum extra welding needs to b done on the front side to mount the fairing. They r not yet sure abt d modification price as dey have received only d vehicle n not d manual. He asked me to cum next week for the same....

Buddy, i had been to the showroom today n took most of d info. The fairing is divided into 3 parts - The Head light, Fiber fairing and the stay on which the fairing is fitted.(its a connection b/w bike n d fairing).

The headlight will cost roughly 2.5k, the full fairing will cost around 3-3.5k and the stay, i dono d price. v need to do sum welding to mount d fairing n sum wiring work for all the lights n bike to function properly.

So i think it wud b around 9-10k bucks 4 mounting d fairing, u can also check out in showroom 4 further details once......

BTW i checked it out in Pacer Motors in Infantry Road.....
