I went and checked the Shinrai Yamaha in Cochin and I was told the whole kit is for 5k, but there is a shortage for the headlight assembly. When asked about "direct fitment" i was given a "confused" YES and they said they will fix it on the bike. They couldnt comment on the price for the mod. I would guess it will be around 1.5K. So total cost would be 6.5K, which is worth according to me, because rest of the bike (Monoshock, wide rear tyre, sleek seats) are already "modded".

Once confirmed, I am getting it done + add angel eyes. (heard it will cost 11k for a pair from Delhi !!!)

I dont know why you want to change the naked look on the bike. Front mask on the Fazer is really bad for Touring that to going on the Ghats. The lights would be fixed at point while turning you cant see the road properly when riding in night. Just be sure if you want to do it.
                Yamaha FZ16 - 2009 to 2011

6.5 great expectations dude then everyone will buy an FZ with 2500 discount and spend 6.5k and get a fazer 3000 cheap... a few bucks for the horns maybe
Kingdom FAR FAR away is where I wanna be...
But I can't find a road headed that way.

FAZER, got a fairing, not suitable for ghats,as GALAXtux quoted. Also it'll make ur bike 4kg's heavier. so no point in upgrading on dat punny engine. In addition to it, it will bear u more on ur pockets if u meet wid an accident and to change the fairing is the only option...
so, stick to FZ style, it rocks.

Mate, I have been riding the faired bikes Karizma and R15 almost on every weekend up the hills and idnt face any such issue of light, IMO the fact being the handle remains straight while we take turns
