      @Paths_of_glory

      You can do any number of kilometers given both the man and the machine are not stretched off their limits.Just ride as long as you feel comfortable and do take breaks in between.Btw, click on my siggy if you are interested abt the trip.

      Also one of the xbhpian(moeed) did a 800km in 11 hrs riding a 100cc Platina!! So nothing is impossible!!

        Had done a 260km round trip on a Discover 112CC. The only problem faced was strained engine after 100 odd kms, verdict is simple, ride the bike at no more than 80% of max speed and enjoy the ride, Discover is a delightful bike with very relaxed riding position!

          yeah man you can surely do it on a 125cc discover ... with all the precautionary measures taken as stated above ... but just make sure your bike is not max tuned towards mileage or anything ... coz my bro's star city is tuned such and it really panics on the highway after 50kph ...the engine really suffocates . so if you have no such tuning , you can go ahead ...
          People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

                  Dude, are you taking my 100 odd kms as total kms done on odo? I meant the bikes engine feel strained if you do say 120kms strech at 90kmph crusing speed.

                    get the Gladiator (not ss/rs unless you are okay with little lower handlebars than the original ones).

                    The Disco 125 could have made it to the list but it is not sold anymore.

                      i have done 400 kms round trip in a day on my discover..The bikes did it fine..the bike is very capable at touring but the engine feels very strained at high speeds.. but it can cruise at 70-80kmph easy.. 1500 should be no issue at all

                        My friend did 450km from Bhubaneswar to Vizag, and then back after two days on the Platina 100cc. Even more, he rode 1000+ kms in the searing heat of Orissa for six days. Need say mroe??

                              Its not the bike that matters but the rider. I have seen people taking puny 100cc bikes all the way upto Leh-Ladakh as well.
                              Ride the 125cc bike in the market first before u make your decision.
