  • Tank Protector for my R15

Hello there everyone... I prolly don't know much of you guys out there, Cuz, i'm just a fresher to this website. Anyways. I recently bought a R15, and i'm absolutely loving it.

Now a couple of my friends n me are planning a road trip. So i was thinking to buy a tank protector for my bike to protect it from scratches from back packs and what not.

When i saw it in the shop, It was soo small.. So now i'm wondering whether that little piece of thing will really help in protecting the tank or its just a waste of money..

    Thanks y'all...

    Regards

    Hitu

it's really worth it mate...if your not willing to spend that much, you do get some good ones for around 450-500 bucks(in bangy.dunno where you live)... it does prevent scratches to a large extent...

Tankpads are definitely functional.. They do prevent scratches on the tank, when the rider moves forward during braking/otherwise.. Especially due to the belt hitting the tank..
You can get a good choice of tankpads locally, if you don't wanna shell out much on it..
The tankpad from Yamaha, for the R15 is really good, considering it covers a large area.. Its priced at 700bucks.. Quite worth the money, if you like it (I personally don't )..

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Whoops! Sorry man! Yeah it would definitely help from getting scratched!

Also please check out Yamaha accessories as well, they might have the tank pads. Checked the website they haven't mentioned about the tank pads though!
