          @bhargava..you guys are doing the right thing...the dealers have started taking their customers for granted now a days and even i have faced a similar experience with my yamaha dealer when i went to book R15. the guy here did not give proper attention or was bothered to attend a customer he was busy talking to his girl on phone and i had to wait a minimum of 25 mins to get his attention.... i finally picked up my bike from a near by city where i got proper respect and response.

          if the khivraj guys don't deliver your bike in the given time frame then go ahead with the case... we all are with you. good luck and hope for the best.

              its very bad from a reputed co. like Bajaj....... in this way they gonna lose customers....... Bajaj should learn something from HH in terms of entertaining the customers....... is there any way we can help, pls let us know........

                  Not exactly the same reason but the same thing happenned with me when I went to Yamaha showroom!

                    Kasturba Khivraj ??!! Unexpected, b'cos I thought it was the only 'good' Bajaj dealer in B'lore........but Bajaj finance is another 'fraud' kind of operation, some time back many customers had filed several complaints in local police stations in B'luru (they had charged high interest rates different from what was promised by Bajaj dealers), I saw the report on Kannada News Channels (few months back)

                        Khivraj trying to fool customers or monopoly as only Probiking showroom at Bangalore?

                        I too have booked a Pulsar 220 since long paying the Rs.1000 as advance amount but whenever I call Khivraj Motors, they say me another 20-25 days. Are they trying to fool me and keep me waiting for my bike forever? I never expected this from Bajaj ever as I had been using Pulsar 150 before. If I don't get the bike by end of this week, I am going to cancel my booking. I have not done finance as I am ready to pay the full amount in cash which I have arranged since long. Khivraj was even asking me to come and pay the amount but i said I will wait until the delivery of the bike and not going to pay anymore before that.

                          All this is going nowhere. Look man, I seriously suggest you go and file a case as you intended to and ask compensation for your mental anguish also. I am on the verge of filing a fraud complaint against Bajaj and Jai bajaj chennai myself.

                            Thanks for all the input Guys

                            My friend got a call from Ramprasad from kivraj and he first apologized for the whatever happened, he said there are not receiving enough stocks from bajaj, he assured him delivering bike within 10 days and requested not to file any case.
                            Today again he called back and informed that bike will be delivered on 12-08-2009.

                              This is expected. the reason they keep delaying is because you are going through loan or paying just 1000 or 5000 as booking. i had the same experience while buying my car and bike.

                              The yamaha guys told me 2 weeks when i initially booked the bike paying 1000 rs but then when i was ready to pay the full amount, they agreed to get my bike in a week which i did.. its all plotted... they would have the bikes in stock but prefer to give it to people who are ready to pay the full amount...

                              They categorize and are impartial to people just because we cant pay the entire amount.. i know people who have told me that they have paid extra to get the bike faster..... if you do not get a reply from them in max 2-3 days plesae take this to the consumer court .... they have no rights to take the money from you with out the bike... its outrageous!!!!!
