I still remember the saree guard on my R1 causing a huge discussion and a furore when I was posting as soon as I got it.

Huge fun indeed, but both are proven life-savers.

RVM for obvious reasons. Saree guard for the pillion of course.

Saree guard was off the bike the same day as the registration was done, and so was the front number plate across the windscreen

what is the use of a sari guard for bike that don't have a foot rest for ladies sitting facing one side?i.e why have a sari guard for a bike in which no one can sit wearing sari?

So that they can sell the footrest as additional accessory.
