    @ Mods
Please spare this thread from cleaning rituals.
    hi Rahul!
did you checked the pressure on the rear gas shockers? my bike also used to veer towards the right whenever i apply brakes. went through a lot of rituals and finally asked the SVC people to check my forks and rear gas shockers.the pressure on the rear right one was considerably less than the left. they filled it up with nitrogen, that's what they told me and now its running much better than before.

coming to the calipers, slight amount of play is normal.check with other 220 to see if the movement is excessive on your bike.the caliper is connected to a piece of C shaped metal ( sorry dont know what it is called) with 2 screws, which in turn is connected to the fork stem. check those screws they might have come loose and bleed the brake lines fully and put new brake fluid. air inside the brake line may also result in the pulsating feeling on the lever.

Thanks for the inputs friend. But those things have been taken care of long back. Next is chassis inspection and new tyre. In my case u just need to leave the handle to know how it veers to left. The forks and wheel are fine. So we are suspecting the chassis and improperly fit cone set to be the culprit.

Woahh! A major service which was pending for a long time was completed today evening successfully!!
When my bike was 10k kms old a poor handling overhaul job was done. Improperly fit cone set, imbalance in fork oil level & bad fork truing job. Hence i had been facing pathetic handling for the last 10k kms although regular servicings were done in between.

As my bike clocked 20k(obviously on the odo!) i rushed to the pbk for yet another major service. This time i was mentally prepared to face anything(read time & bill & shouting at higher officials). I had given the bike on Jan 8th but only the general service part could be completed on the same day. New brake pads, fuel filter & air filter, crash guard & One way clutch. So i went back on 15th. The job started & i was filled with joy. Everytime i patiently monitor the status of the work by sitting next to the bike from morning till night! This time also it was the same. The Manager asked me to sit in the customer lounge but i politely refused!

On 15th nothing was done except opening the front on the bike & sending the forks (without outer tubes) for truing & getting them back. I went back home. This morning by the time i reached the mechanic had filled the forks with 350ml (recommended is 330ml for FI) of Motul Fork Oil & kept them ready for assembling. After fitting the forks we got threading & denting done. Lunch time.
Then came the new headlight unit. Next came the new wheel bearings & the much awaited Swingarm Bush! The spares guy gave us the wrong sleeve & we wasted almost half an hour before i recognised that the part was not of a 220! Got it changed & carried on. By the time this hectic job was done it was almost evening. Then my throttle body was opened. To my horror the butterfly valve was totally clogged with carbon deposits! Its movement was restricted but the Injector was clean! Now the time was almost 7 & i test drove the bike. The bike was fine except for that it was stalling at idling!
We realised that intake manifold was not tightened! Tightened it but still the bike was shutting down. Changed the spark plugs but they proved totally useless. Changed the roll over sensor. The bike initially was fine & we were happy. But soon the bike stalled once again! The roll over sensor was fine. Then changed the fuel pump relay & still the problem continues! My worst fears were coming true! Why the f**k did i ever get the Injector opened! I was getting paranoid & was thinking Injector went kaput after cleaning it! Then i suggested checking for choked fuel line by coming in between tank & chassis running towards Injector. Lifted the tank & disconnected everything. Taking help from a fellow mechanic he quicklyplucked out the Injector once again to see if it was Injecting fuel or not. Fuel was not going to the Injector & it was dry! So thought of checking the spray pressure. After putting everything back, the fuel pump stopped working!! It wasnt initialising! I could see tension in my mechanics eyes. He started sweating badly! It was the same with me aswell! Tried everything but the fuel pump wasnt working! Checked with a new roll over sensor, fuses, fuel pump relay, battery & new fuel pump. To our surprise there was no power supply to the pump! Then i suggested checking all the wirings. Everything was fine. Still no supply to the fuel pump! While fiddling once again with fuel pump relay we heard click noise from the fuel pump! After fiddling around realised that fuel pump relay has some problem & got a new one. But we were wrong & still the fuel pump wasnt working. Then i recognised acid spill on it from my old crap battery! Upon inspection i noticed acid corrosion on the socket terminals! Immediately informed my mechanic & he cleaned it with rust off. Now we got the source of the problem! The wires had actually been damaged due to acid spills & the supply's earthing was cut-off. As it was getting real late (9.15 PM) i asked my mechanic to go back home & continue on monday. Hence the problem still persists!

After the handling job which was done really well the bike simply feels awesome! Throttle body & Injector cleaning made my throttle response much better & letme tell u all i feel like king of the streets again! The handling is pretty impressive now but i dint exploit it yet as my forks actually dont have much action & i dont want the seals to burst due to the excess oil poured in. The handling is pretty stiff & iam enjoying it! The lighting now is far better than before, courtesy- New headlight. The brakes are pretty sharp, courtesy- New pads & Motul DOT4 brake fluid.

        Jobs Done/Parts Changed:
        1. New Brake Pads Front
        2. New Brake Pads Rear
        3. New Fuel Filter
        4. New Air filter
        5. New Crash Guard LH side
        6. New Mirror Holder RH side
        7. Fork Truing done
        8. Motul Fork Oil (350ml in each).Loving the stiff suspension!
        9. New Fork Oil Seals
        10. New Steering Cone Set
        11. Threading done & sleeves inserted on the chassis (Where the oil cooler nuts are fit. They slipped)
        12. Denting done on bracket mounts on the chassis (they were bent)
        13. New One Way Clutch (Warranty)
        14. New Headlight (Warranty) (Loving the new unit. Dust free, so much better spread!)
        15. New Battery (Warranty)
        16. New Fuel Pump Relay (Battery acid fell on it & contacts were corroded)
        17. New Wheel Bearings
        18. New Swingarm Bush
        19. Throttle Body Cleaned
        20. Injector Cleaned
        21. Brake Fluid Changed (Motul DOT4)

        Pending Things:
        1. New Silencer (Warranty)
        2. Fuel Pump Earthing issue
        3. Low Mileage
        4. CO adjustment
        5. Wheel Truing
        6. Nitrox Gas in rear shocks

Now at about 25k+ (actual kms run) my front tyre has pretty much worn out & iam going to replace it soon with R15 front rubber. My 2nd rear tyre (IRC) is also worn out. I may go with either Michellin Sirac or some other tyre for running taller.

PS- Chassis had no problem. I bugged my mechanic to check it from all the possible angles.

        @ALL
Thanks for all the valueable suggestions & inputs given. After a good fork overhaul job, new cone set, new wheel bearings & swngarm bush the bike is now going in a straight line & iam very much satisfied. Thanks once again.
