  • Help with tank pad

    Hey guys
    i own a Yamaha R15, Racing Blue. Since a month or so i have been thinking of getting a tank pad for the bike. But i am utterly confused.

    I have seen few tank pad on planet dsg website and the original yamaha r15 available at yamaha showroom. i really liked the one available at planet dsg but the problem is i am not sure if those will fit my bike's tank profile. I mean the original R15 fits beautifully to the curves and profile of the tank but its not that spicy.

    Guys please suggest and help if using the one available at planet dsg would stick to my tank properly or not....

    thanks !!

            If you like the yamaha tankpad (rather tank-bra ), go for it.. it provides superb protection as its very large..
            Regarding the ones available on planetdsg, not sure if they will go well with the R15's tank curves..
            i'd suggest, once you zero-in on the one you want, before ordering it you should take a print of the image of the tankpad, & see how well it syncs with the tank pad.. size will not be an issue, but the curves might.. if it goes well, order it.. Else, buy something locally, or the yamaha tankpad is always there..

            @All: Any other better ideas?

            PS: I personally use a PRO GRIP tankpad on my R15.. Available locally..

            The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

                Try getting in touch with member(s) from indore.. If not, enquire at 2-wheeler auto-accessory/ spare parts shops.. You should get it easily man..

                      The original tank pad from the company looks to be the best suited one, and most durable also. Go for it...

                          the original one looks great on the R15.

                          btw are there any genuine YAMAHA tank pads for the FZ?
