Oh and BTW, Pulsar 150 is also a 150CC engine.... can it do as much with all those mods? or will it do more coz it has DTSI...!

Every engine is 'slightly' different from each other...! its as slight as the Cat is from the leopard!
Correct, every engine is different from other, that why say, each has own capabilities and characteristic.

By the way, I am not a specialist and nor automobile engineer, but still in my interest, I am getting little knowledge of it.

That’s I believe everything is possible, and base on that, day by day and year by year same mills produce more power and torque. I am sure you got my point.

Two things I would humbly like to point out.
      1. Engines may get more sofesticated day by day, however there is such a thing called theoratical limitation on a particular level of technology. It is not the same mill, it is a different mill with different technical specification. Even the pulsar upgrades vary in tech from each other.

      2. Please get your facts straight. Do not compare a CBR 150 r with the R 15. CBR150 is a decendent of the CBR family with DOHC and race bred technology. The R 15 does not share any thing with the R series except chasis and styling.

You claim not to be an expert, however dish out mod specifications like you have personally performed the experiment. There are people on this site who have spent a lot of valuable time on the R15 in order to test its limits. kindly reffer to them before making such grandious statements. Please do not misguide people.

      Thank you

Your points centrally valuable and also I am aware of the some people who had done experiment on R15. But no one claim that they are genius on it. They are doing their research base on his interest.

Now, Point is can R15 has room to improve the top end speed, Then I will say Yes, how I update you once I will finish my research and implement on it. May be I wrong, but today I believe that I can do it.

It’s not misguiding some one; I just share my view and opinion. Yes, I have to mark asterisk (*) that I haven’t implement that yet.

        Thank you !

How, I thinks below changes can stretch it at 160 or 170 KMPH

            Modification
            1.1 High-lift Camshaft:
            1.2 Close Loop ECU
1.3 Free Flow Twine + short exhaust
            1.4 K&N Filter R1100
            1.5 14/40 Sprockets

            Maintenance

            1) Increase the H2O ratio in your coolant
            2) Index your spark plugs :
            references
            http://www.ehow.com/how_2343886_index-spark-plugs-better- performanceeconomy.html

            http://www.boatsetup.com/PlgIndex.pdf

            3) Synthetic Oil
            4) Insulate Fuel Lines : When your fuel lines travel through the engine bay they heat up. However, cooler fuel produces more power for more reasons than just cooling down the intake charge--although that certainly helps things! So, to improve power output, simply purchase some refrigerator/air conditioning insulation and wrap the fuel lines with the insulation. While you're at it, you may wish to go ahead and do this to the intake arm as well for even more power.
Well i agree its possible. But at the cost of what, the engines life? And then keep on rebuilding the engine everytime the pistons wear out? If you pay 1 lakh+ for a bike which i fine in its own way, plus add more mods to them to squeeze out more performance, killing the bikes own identity, why not just invest for a bike with higher capacity and power.
A fact -- It takes more love to share the pillion seat, than to share the bed.

                        Hey leah ,
I dont really understand what that chennai guy is behind when he said that your bike will top 170. Before that do ask him what all is he fingering in your bike. After that discuss it in detail over here so that we can you valuable suggestions. Just dont go blindly.

                            Re: [Help]: R15 modification.

                            Guys,

I have a an R15 Version 1.0 and I am tired of the rear stock tyres getting punctured. I had replaced the tyre once at 14k even though the tyre looked ok, but had 6 punctures on it and the air kept leaking. i have done 8k with the second tyre and its starting to leak already and Im sure it has tiny punctures on it coz the pressure drops. dont want to fix the punctures coz there will be too many of them and it will get worse. can anybody suggest what to do? I have heard that Zapper vyde is good. will that screw my performance, acceleration, handling, fuel efficiency etc? Please help.
