Thx for the info, really appreciate it. I got the part of installing the new RR unit, however the part for rerouting the light wires am not so clear about.
Do u have any circuit diagram which might make things somewhat clearer?

No I dont've any diagram and am not good in drawng, so I cant help u in this. Light wire which part u r not clear?

About how to make connections for light. I mean where to connect the wires to. To the RR unit DC?
Also How to add a relay which works with ignition system.

If u've some general awareness, surely u can find these. In a ign switch contact, there is a power line from the batt to make the electricals live. U need to tap the wire to power the relays, else, it will work evenif ur bike is in off condition, resulting misuse and premature batt life.

RR out is to be fed to the batt, this can be done by either connect directly, but best way is to take the wire for feeding batt from the old rr out wire.

If u still not able to follow, its better to take help from an electrician to do the job without any issues.

I had a talk with an auto electrician here. He said that instead of going in for coil rewinding, install double charger. will it be right?

Me too. never heard of it!!! The electrician said that this would be the best solution. I hope someone knows about it. I'll be getting things done tomorrow morning.

Dude, if I recollected correctly, u need to use a higher watt bulb or an HID, for that ur electrician suggests for a double charger and that too from the stock coils

A double charger is adding a cheap rr unit like kb100 one in parallel to the existing one. Helps a little.

Abhi do u think this mean charging will make any effect? Or will it support both at a time?

In the diagram u showed, both High and Low beam will be ON together. Right ?

Shree, I hope I've clarified over tel. In a SPDT relay there will be NC (Normally Close) and NO (Normally Open)contacts and when the relay is powered, the power will be given to the other pole (NO), so only one contact at a time is possible, leaving the low beam wire open is to save the batt power when I have the batt charging issues. When u switch to the High beam position, the relay get activated and contact gives the power to the High beam wire. Got it?

This will give more lifespan over the relay too

Just see the sktech of a SPDT Relay

If the original rr unit is lousy and restricts current, it should help.

I have an APE RR unit. wasn't able to get it fixed this weekend.

So now i should change to APE RR unit (Remove the stock RR unit?) and get the wirings done as shown by sajanjosepht. Am i right or am i missing something here?
