That indeed IS my bike!

Well, as a warning sign to all..it's just an experiment that I did. I'm not quite happy with the illumination(because those projectors I used are intended for usage as fog lamps actually), but the mod itself is good and the bike looks gorgeous and amazing. The bike looks totally cool when I ride with the outer two projectors turned on during day time. It has never given me any battery problems in these 1.5Yrs as only 2 projectors will be on at any given time(either inner two, or outer two).


As I've already done it, it's now proved that this thing is not impossible..all I need now are the right projectors. I actually thought I'll post a DIY of the entire project, but then was worried about commercial-plagiarism. FC-Unit person has already tried showing off my work as his own work over Orkut. Luckily, I got to know about his acts and could force him to take the pics out of his albums with the help of many loyal friends of mine. Anyways, I'm still thinking of posting a DIY sometime soon, for xBhp.

Currently, I have my exams going, uptil this weekend. I'll be glad to help you guys out after my exams!

One more question, Is this process reversible?? You know in case something goes kaput and I wish to claim warranty??

yamaha is planning to sell an aftermarket projector/HID headlight assembly for the R15 soon... by the end of august perhaps.

it won't be cheap but will definitely be worth it.

@ digislayer: the mod on ur bike is one of the best i've seen for the R15.
very well done. would be interesting to see the DIY info.

i'm about half thru my R15 projector project too.
trying an R1 replica... ie. without the outer headlight lens.

For starters can you please point me to a good place to immediately pickup tankpad(yamaha/progrip), race stand(yamaha or apache .. will it work on r15?) and some non-leather (yet nice knuckle & finger protected) gloves?

Yeah! Like the other member said the blog has not got much of info. Like there is no info about type of halogen bulbs inside projectors, wiring details, other stuff
