  • [Help]:Leh with a pillion

    Hello

I am planing leh trip with my friend. We are planing to go double seat. i would like to know which bike is suitable for this trip which is capable to take so much load.

    Query Moved and Approved.

A friend of mine (and an xBhpian), Archistar has done Leh/ Ladakh on an Honda Unicorn with a pillion with not many problems. So, I believe, yes, it is possible but not really advisable.

Any descent 150cc or above bike should be capable of doing leh..!
Even there are people here who have taken an 'unexpected' bike having much lesser power. Just ensure, the bike should be best in its health.
With pillion should not be a problem. Tons of people have done it. Just the pillion & you should be comfortable for this. Also luggage should be a concern. All the best.!

I was just wondering whether I can do this with my P135LS as well. Any ideas? Will it suffice or I will need a different bike?

Avenger or T'Bird would be the best.

The pillion would be really comfortable and so would be you.

Sometimes the rider's skills are the things which matters than the cc of the engine. Its not a hard thing to conquer leh even with the splendour if the rider has the enough capabilities.

That was a really inspiring one. I guess I can do this too with my P135 with a pillion. But the pillion then will have to tolerate more pain.

Carrying luggage matters a lot. He packed up entire stuff in just saddle bag and tank bag (For both). Bcz you can't carry back packs for long distances and it can strain u both.
