Errr.... unless you find some way to put the zmr's pgmfi on the dtsfi (boy, too many jargons) the pular ecu is not going to adjust squat. You will only make the bike leaner. My suggestion, if you are serious about putting a K&N on the 220 get a carb and then fit it.

      Practical Time

      OK!!
Lots of theories & discussions here.
      Now the Facts!!
K&N increases the performance when U increase the Fuel supply & also the exhaust accordingly.
A simple DIY job of a plonking in a K&N does more harm than any good to UR engine.
U may enjoy the roar of the engine & feel it to be faster but the fact is different.
I tried out with the K&N & a Performance exhaust ( Joel Made it).
Bike loses out its top end drastically.
      It can be smoked easily by a stock 220 ( Rahul9985's 220)
I increased the AFR to the MAX possible in the ECU with the help of the Diag tool of BAL.
Then increased the Compression ratio also marginally.
      It was still running leaner.
But the performance was much higher than the Stock 220.
Please take a call basing on the overall Pros & Cons.
Its not an easy Job to install a K&N & get +ve results.
It gave me much better results when I Put the K&N + Exhaust in a 220 DTSi ( Stock Jets).
Even this set up had some Flat spots which need some Upjetting.
