Ravi i recently broke on of my (New) uni's bar end weight and to my horror i noticed its just a plastic hollow thing and weighs merely some grams, i think the uni is so smooth you dont need bar end weights .

              Plastic ya real ?
Plastic means just the handle grips with latest Unicorn's

Real ones, get some welding done n mount it. Simple

Even HH Hunk! Had fixed Pulsar handle bar along with the end weights. Bike feels much much better!

How much do they cost plastic and real .
I've read that we just need to weld thick washers at the end of the handle and fasten the weights.
Welding is not a problem as i can do it myself but cost is.

Plastic ones including new rotor and gripper should cost less than 100rs. If you can neatly cut the existing ones then max 20rs.

Real ones, Pulsar end weights cost 160rs for a pair including alen key bolt. Rest is welding part.

Plastic one is 6 bucks each. For once, I am happy with HH pricing.

my unicorn April 2011, bar end weights(!) are hollow plastic, the left side one fell off while riding and was brought to me by a friendly, but the handles (grips) feel as though they have multiple heavy rods inside always rolling around, feels good but so different! whats inside don't know. should i use araldite to the plastic so they dont fall off? after each ride i thump the plastic to ensure i dont lose it .has become second nature to me.
                        and such a nuisance!!!
