Mobile & Navigator Charger
Royal Enfields are synonymous with exploratory, long distance rides. But, unfortunately, Royal Enfield does cost-cutting on the essentials by not providing a 12 V charger for charging our mobile phones and navigators even in their premium product like Thunderbird 500, when even a tiny scooter, costing less than half its price, has this gadget in stock form.
I am thinking of getting a charger for my Bird. I have the following basic questions:
1. Can I have a charger fitted to my Bird without draining the battery by having a switch in the circuit?
2. Which is the right place to have the charger fixed: on the handlebar or inside the utility box to protect it from the rains?
3. There are many brands available in the market like TVS, Xenos, but which is preferable?
I request the members to share their experience here for the benefit of new owners of Royal Enfield like me.Comment
