    Sohaibak:

I was in a similar situation 2 years back and insisted on buying a 600cc instead of a 1000, i indeed bought a Ninja 650, but over a period of time after riding my friends R1's, Gixxer's, Cruisers trust me there is not much difference in the weight and handling. Only difference lies in torque and fuel average.

And R1 is a really good handler for regular commuting

anyway no BRAND NEW STREET LEGAL 600cc bike can be found in india otherwise ... i would have ordered r6 on the day of its launch

maybe try gettin ur hand on a second hand ninja 250 and then shift to 1000cc if you think the big ones will be to much to handle ....

well to be truthfull like you my previous riding exp. has been 250 and 180

but just the other day i was asking this question to a very very senior superbiker.....

he said the same thing that he first had 600 cc and within 3 months he upgraded to a 1000cc their is not much difference except for the weight part and lil .. on handling.....

its your choice how much powerfull you want to keep the bike( after all the throttle is in your hand)

dont worry within 1-2 months you will get used to it at least that what he said to me

my elder brother suggested me to go for a kawasaki h2 triple, its a 3 cylinder 2 stroke bike with 110 hp, and he said that i would get it at a price of 9000USD,
and i am a huge fan of 2 stroke bike, there is a site known as motocarrera and they modify 2 stroke bikes, and i can get 145 hp ported block from them and install the on the bike, and this bike will totally fit in my budget of 7 lakhs and i will be a proud owner of a 2 stroke 750 cc bike, and the people from the site say that after installing their mods , the guarantee that the power to weigh ratio will be soo good that even a 900 or 1000cc bike wont be able to drag it, so i am really looking forward to go for a kawak triple, so really guys should i go for it??

ta kawak triple is a vintage bike, and i am prefering more to torque and power, and nothing delivers better than a 2 stroke, here are some pics of a kawasaki H2triple 750 2 stroke
