@Ashwhin : Your post are the same since 2010. Have you changed bikes or just want to change handle bars again???

I have pulsar UG3 & have changed the handle bar of discovers & it's very comfortable.

This time my question was related to changing Clip-On to traditional type. It's for my friend who is planning to buy Pulsar. He is not comfortable with Clip-On handle bars.

          worst quality bike

I too have the same problem. Overall my experience with pulsar 150 is horrible. I have a 2011 version of Pular 150, when I bought it I found out that entire handle bar was misaligned and I was having severe pains in one of my shoulder due to crocked handle bars. Then I got that fixed, the problem was the entire bike frame was bent due to manufacturing defect and thats the reason the handle bar was crocked.

But even after fixing the frame bend in my bike, I had serious shoulder and back pains, It was hell whenever I drove my bike. Bajaj has really messed up the riding position and foot peg position. The handle bar is low so you are leaning forward like a sport position, if your leaning forward your legs should be backward (rear set foot pegs), but in pulsar 150 there are no rear set foot pegs the foot pegs are in the front like a commuter bike. So the handle bar is sporty but the leg position is commuter, which is a really messed up way of riding.

I regret for buying this bike.

I rented a a royal enfiled and rode it for 100km without any pains, it was a pleasure riding royal enfield. I will soon sell my pulsar and buy royal enfield.

I would advice you in best interest to stay away from pulsar 150.
