  • Need contact information for Honda

    Hello,

I recently bought CBF Stunner PGM-FI and I gave it for second service last Tuesday, May 18th. The same day I was informed that the Crank Shaft is defective and they will replace it under warranty in max four days. I have been following with them regularly and after the warranty approval came, they started work to replace the Crank Shaft. Later, they found out that the part is not fitting and Stunner FI needs a different Crank Shaft than regular Stunner.

Now with no stock available anywhere in south, and my bike's engine completely dismantled for the past 3 days, I am a lot worried as to what is the next course. No specified time is available when the part will come. I would like to contact Honda's higher officials in this regard, and I need contact information of higher officials with names if possible.

    Looking for the help.

No mail id available. Only a complaint box on honda's website. I guess that will take ages for them to reply.

Nobody has contacted a Honda official before??

It will not take ages, you will get a call within 48 hours. I had problems with my Unicorn and had lodged compliant in their website.

Also try to source your regional engineers number and try contacting him to know when he will be available in ur locality so that things can be done fine.

Thanks for the help. Last night I mailed to them via the website feedback window, and got the reply today morning and they would look into the matter and get back to me. That is a pretty quick reply. Isn't it??

Hope things will be solved soon and get my bike back.

Crankshaft has not failed. My bike was very much fine, I even did a 100 kmph before the day. When I gave for service, I just told them there was a minor different sound other than the regular engine beat and asked them to check it. Then, I received the call that the crankshaft was defective. The shaft has a higher gradient of surface variation it seems.

Crank shaft is the main drive of the engine, and I too am very surprised that it was defective in a Honda engine.

No further communication from Honda yet. Waiting endlessly.

There are possibilities of failure thou it might be less. Even I was getting some stupid noise and the mileage in my Unicorn was between 20-22kmpl. They took almost 20days to resolve issue completely that too after Regional Manager coming into picture.
They started with changing bore, piston, rockers, engine head, clutch plates, oil filter, cam, tensioner and finally problem solved after changing crank shaft !! Isn't the list small.?

It all happened due to poor service men knowledge !!
After all this I started getting noise from cam-chain but I was tired of visiting Honda ASC. So didn't bother about sound. Bike has done 30k+ kms with that noisy cam-chain

Ravi - Honda won't keep communicating with you always. They ll call you once and later assign it to some service center in your locality or might be the one which you are already going to. Its better to get the regional manager's number and contact him.

                        Update

Even after four days, no further communication from Honda Customer Care, except the initial mail that states 'we will get back to you soon'.

I have approached the JSP Honda and came to know that they have ordered the spare today only. So, the day when they realized that spare was not available in Hyderabad is May 22nd, Saturday, and it took them a week to place order for the spare. That too, even after I complained to the Customer Care.

Called the phone numbers mentioned in the Signature of Mr. Sandeep Pai, who is head of Customer Relations, HMSI. No body answered them.

Disgusting service from Honda. Even Kinetic service is thousand times better.

I am really shocked and puzzled as to why Honda Customer Care is not responding to my complaints. Even after I complained to the Customer Care, the JSP dealer took a full week to place the order for the Crankshaft since he got to know that spare was not in stock.

I do not understand what is happening. Is Honda service so pathetic, that they chose not to respond to a customer's complaint?

What is more shocking is, the JSP Honda came to know about my complaint to the Customer Care and after that they chose to delay the process for days. Are the customer care and JSP Honda are hand in glove?

I really need to escalate this matter further and do not know what to do and where to complaint.

P.S.: When I mailed my complaint to Kinetic India regarding my Kinetic Blaze, I was greeted by the regional engineer with the complaint two days later and all problems were rectified to my satisfaction in a day. Now, where the Customer Care of Honda fits in?

It isnt really shocking for me because i already had experience with Honda's Crank breaking into 2 pieces at a pretty high speed.
Anyways try harsher language with higher officials. Doesnt Honda service center have their own service engineers?
Indeed Pathetic service. Bajaj has been serving me better.

PS- You can try publishing about the pathetic service and blah blah in newspapers such as Times of India and The Hindu. It works..
