i am from gujarat.and was anxious to know which tyre should be used in such terrain.because here in our group of xbhpians in gujarat.there are two riders using SIRAC in their 220. and we've done several offroading, and tested in many rides....the tyre is good..but still i am thinking of getting CEAT vertigo sport in my LEH trip this year.

i am using michelin pilot as a front tyre in my 220. and while installing the tyre...at first tyre was not settling up because it was tubetype.but somehow the tyre wala managed to fit it to the rim....Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View PostTubeless must be available for ZMA, check ZMR profile tyres.
AFAIK, Tube tyres cannot be used as tubeless. The main reasons are
1) How will you fit a airtight nozzle to the tyre for filling air.
2) The sidewall beading of tubeless tyres are made such that the get lock to
the RIM which is not the exact case with tubed ones.
Instead use a good quality tube tyre and a good tube. It will take a real Hard-offroading to get the new hard-tubed tyre puncture.

the main reason why i got a tubetype tyre in my bike is lack of availablity of a front tubeless tyre in a city like Ahmedabad.i talked with the manager at MRF.we dont have the lot yet....and checked in gandhinagar also they said no sir we dont have it yet.
sometimes it pushes me to think that why this companies have this problems
