    my p220 FI not starting

    guys need experts help
    my p220 FI is not starting
    after many self starts d battery went down soo i charged it den later on i bought a new battery coz i thought it was a battery issue
    den i went to d local mechanic (bajaj service center is more den 80 km from my place)
    the mechanic told me dat my fuel injector assembly is throwing more petrol den its required so d engine is not starting
    den i changed d fuel injector assembly even after changing it the bike doesn't
    start
    even changed d stock spark plugs to iridium plugs
    i m fed up of my p220 FI

    why is d bike not stating guys please help !!!!!

      Did you try push starting it? There might be a issue with 'Fuse Blown'. I have read many problems about the 220 not starting due to a blown fuse. I donot know the exact location of the fuse, but it is somewhere below the seat. Open the seat locate a black box and see it if the fuse is blown or intact.

        the self is taken
        but d engine does not start
        tried it push starting
        nothing works
        really feeling sad for buying 220 FI

          I had the same problem with my Fi & it turned out tat a rectifier behind the battery had conked off. The problem was solved by Sai service in parel.Theres this mechanic called salim there,he is the best guy ive come across for a Fi till now.

            wats is a rectifier ??
            r u talking about d relay
            fuel injector is working even d starter works
            but engine does not start after giving self or by push starting

              Do give a thorough check-up of electricals. Go to a mechanic and tell him to check the Ignition coil, it might have gone kaput.

                saw d ignition coil 2day itself no issue with dat
                n the wires are all checked
                sumtimes d engine start for about 2 - 3 seconds n den again stops

                  R u trying out these things yourself or by some mechanic. take your bike to Authorised Service Center.

                    Ignition coil needs to be checked by an electrician, it cannot be said by physical structure of the coil. Check the fuse below the seat too.

                      To know if a fuse is blown without any effort, just switch on the key. if u can see the display on the console, then the fuse is fine. if not, replace it. get all the electrical' s checked including the connections.. under the rear seat to the right , there is a small device to which 4 wires are connected. get it checked. Get ur bike connected to a diagnostic tool and check if all sensors are working fine.

                        miracle !!
                        it was performed by a local mechanic as sai service(borivalli) is around 80 kms. from virar
                        before sum hours wen i removed d CDI and den again fixed it the bike got started i went on a ride but after 2 km. it came to halt
                        wen i observed den i found dat d fuel pump was not working
                        soo i saw d relay which was hanging near d battery i think
                        because of d fuel pump relay i wasted my 8 days
                        may b 2morrow i will be getting d relay n d bike well give me awsum performance

                            Nice to know that finally things are on the right track. Just go to a local mechanic and get the relay removed, then go to the PBK to source the same part.

                            BTW, how did you knew that the relay is kaput.

                              i was knowing about d fuel pump relay which is to d right side of d battery its small in size den d starter relay
                              wen i removed d battery cover i found d fuel pump relay hanging so i thought dat the relay was gone as i had bought a new fuel pump last month
