  • Thanks folks !

I never knew these were not so difficult to take till i read and saw what anvancy had written about lightning photography in TPIN.

And then I was lucky in my first attempt today

This is an unprocessed image , can anyone wave the PS magic wand on it for better results?

                • @Varun: Nice photographs. But:

                  1. The first picture is way too under-exposed. The details in the shadows has been almost completely lost.

                  2. Too much post-processing work has made the second picture a little too much for my eyes.

                  3. Third one is good!

                  4. Same as in the first picture; way too under-exposed even for a silhouette.
                  :)

                  • ^^ I have to agree. Varun go a bit easy on the post processing. Try and get the actual photograph as close to ideal as possible and then do a bit of processing on it.

2nd one is an HDR clikd at +-4 Ev so its natuarl HDR i have not done much on it.. and regading the 1st one, the sun was just opposite so due to adverse lightning the pic cam out under exposed..
                      thanks anyways..!!

                        • Avin crop out either the road or the mountains. Having both isn't helping the picture much. Also the bikes are kinda far off. Just my 2 cents.
