The colors are beautiful but the subject is not clear. It would have been better if you could have got a little closer.Originally posted by kushanth View Post
Nice attempt but you still got a lot to learn. The first picture is ok but it is not bright. Maybe due to lack of proper lighting. The second picture has only green and yellow colors but we cannot really make out the subject. I know its a flower but it is not clear. It is a little harsh on my eyes. Which camera you are using?Originally posted by psycho 98 View Post

The first foto, the red flower, the subject is amazing but the angle and the focal length seems to be improper.. Also the visible noise.. The focus is in the middle of flower and the side petals are loosing focus, so u shud have shot it from a lil distance.Originally posted by psycho 98 View PostThe place where i took these pics lacks light, and the second pic is not clear coz was not carrying tripod at that time. i am using a D 60.
The second foto seems to be done using manual focus .. if yes , then u have to check the focus indicator in the viewfinder carefully while composing.. But still i should say the angle is nice, a lil loosing technicals thats it.
Remember to switch to More vivid mode while shooting flowers to get extra sharp and contrasty pics (something which Nikon has edge over all others
)

Well you don't need a tripod to click sharp images. I am sure if you try a little more you will get some really nice shots. One more tip is to click the subject from really weird angles. You never know which "weird" angle might fetch you a unique shot.Originally posted by psycho 98 View PostThe place where i took these pics lacks light, and the second pic is not clear coz was not carrying tripod at that time. i am using a D 60.
