I am not pin pointing anyone bro. Look at the thread from the beginning. The number of 'photoshopped' ones far out number the 'photographed' ones. Me being a purist, don't really appreciate the former. It is just my opinion.Originally posted by curse View PostThis is the first pic on which i have tried processing.

Agreed, but a little bit of post processing doesn't do any harm in my opinion, as far as i'm concerned i do a bit of post processing like filters and all since i cant get it using normal digital camera( like the ones i use) unlike in DSLR's or SLR's.Originally posted by rharish90 View PostI am not pin pointing anyone bro. So its Ok to an extend i think. But over doing processing to an extent that it hurts the eye to watch is an total overkill and definetly don't appreciate that. I used to do that in the starting, but gradually learned to do with minimum post processing, the more we learn photography the lesser we require post processing.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Buddy I honestly think that a camera does not matter much. You can get really nice pictures using normal cameras itself but that takes a little more effort. An SLR is useful these days only because of their ability to swap lenses for the intended usage. Other than that, an entry level SLR and a P&S are pretty much on even ground here.Originally posted by krish2778 View PostAgreed, but a little bit of post processing doesn't do any harm in my opinion, as far as i'm concerned i do a bit of post processing like filters and all since i cant get it using normal digital camera( like the ones i use) unlike in DSLR's or SLR's.

For the sake of a debate we can compare the image quality, the way you see something in real life can be captured better and more convincingly on an slr rather than on an p&s, its a fact buddy, once you experience it , you always try to attain that level of perfection , thus using post processing methods, but what i feel is we also should have a mindset to try to improve, that's where many people fall back, many go for it just for publicity, rather than the love of photography.Originally posted by rharish90 View PostBuddy I honestly think that a camera does not matter much. Thanks
But although also i do agree with you, great snaps can be taken with the p&s too...its the dedication that matters.Be it p&s or slrs i always make it a point to use manual settings, it really needs the involvement of the photographer too.
Cheers buddy,

I totally agree with you. Once you get used to such a level of quality, you will definitely try to post process for attaining that quality. If I am not mistaken, I have seen some of the 10 or 12 MP P&S cameras produce the same level of picture quality as an entry level DSLR. It was amusing for me.Originally posted by krish2778 View PostFor the sake of a debate we can compare the image quality, the way you see something in real life can be captured better and more convincingly on an slr rather than on an p&s, its a fact buddy, once you experience it , you always try to attain that level of perfection , thus using post processing methods, but what i feel is we also should have a mindset to try to improve, that's where many people fall back, many go for it just for publicity, rather than the love of photography.

Very Nice image .. the image itself is nothing special .. but some how its forcing me to stair at it.. it has some real power of attraction. Good OneOriginally posted by BladeBoy View Post
Good one here too .. good composition of subject .. but some how its looks very dull apart from subject [surrounding].. i think its due to monochrome effect of landscapeOriginally posted by anirban13 View PostThe Duke looks at land's end..
