Bugs/ insects are something that you would find EVERYWHERE Inder. Next time, click a few and do post here. Do that as an 'assignment' (and not as a pass-time) and you would seriously find no shortage of insects/ bugs/ etc. Trust me!

                    Actually!

But seriously, if you take a particular 'shoot' as an assignment, then you would really work hard towards that. Be it photography, be it anything - atleast that's how I approach things EACH time I take the camera in my hand.

I completely understands the importance of this approach, last few times i been out there clicking pics i was out there to click pics only, you just get into the flow and stop bothering about your surroundings. You are there the subject is there, angles are there, shot composition is there. And everything else just blurred into high aperture value .

I might not have put the sentiment across in the best possible manner but i hope people visiting this thread will get the drift.

This weekend may be i would go hunting for 'Bugs'..

                        For the lines in bold:
Actually, that should be the approach when one clicks a photograph..!!

                          • @Ananth: First, all of your pictures have crooked horizons. They should be horizontal.

Secondly, avoid your shadow in the frame unless your shadow IS the subject.

#1 - Doesn't really have anything interesting. It is a "random" shot.

#2 & #3 - Nice 18X zoom, Beautiful colors, but too much in the frame in #2 and nothing really intersting in #3.

#4 - Would have been better without your shadow.

#5 - I liked it. Get closer to the subject and the horizon horizontal. There is a reason why it is called "Horizon" .

I might be little too harsh but just gave in some real honest critic so that you can learn faster. All the best !!! And switch to Manual mode ASAP .
                            Enna Rascalla. Mind it !!!
