  • @Bandhav: I will repeat my last comment that the monuments look good with the base. Clarity is definitely good but the composition could have been better. They look half hearted shots although we know they are not.

#1: Looks good but "The Taj Mosque" takes away a lot more area of the frame then it should. What are you focussing on is what matters. But, I will say that it is a nice effort though.

#2,3&4: Again they are clear but would have looked impressive with the base. The crowd would have not affected the picture. Rather it would have added character. How? The size of the monument becomes much clear when you have some reference to compare it with. In this case the crowd would have acted as a reference to show the incredible size of the Taj. Check the third pic. Even though the crowd is there it doesn't affect the beauty of Taj. Rather it makes the viewer judge the size of the Taj.

Not for Taj but whenever you want to take a shot of anything incredibly huge or small a reference always adds to the beauty. Click a mountain without houses on the slope. And then click a mountain with houses on the slope. You will know the difference.

          • @ Bandhav : I liked the 3rd pic..the b/w effect adds to picture.

But, for the 1st and 2nd pic the trees look pretty usual which we see everyday..!! Nothing special in that..

              • @LP: Thanks. i am using a borrowed Canon Digital cam as of now.

@Inder: Pic 3rd dont have the black & white effect, as the sun was just behind the subject its silhoutte effect.

I just randomly clicked those other two tree shots and liked the way the colors have turned out, so felt like sharing with you guys. And you should not forget that i am just a toddler when it comes to photography.

                      • Congrats, then I can expect good touring clicks from you.

The portraits are nice. You need to work on framing. In portraits, the frame should concentrate more on the subject. The tree on the left side is distracting.

BTW, The kid is really cute.

Ya, thats why i had focused on the faces only..so that the trees can atleast become blur..and moreover these were clicked in a park..!!

That kid is really very cute. He is my friend's little nephew.

                          • For background blur, use lower aperture value such as 2.8 to 3. Also, you get more background blur when the background is far from object. If the object is closer to back ground, the blur will be less and vice versa.

I do not know whether you already knew it, but just my advice.

The Photo's have turned out to be very nice...but i some where think that the composition that you've tried to set up was not that much hand in hand with what you had in your scale model thread's...

And some Pics that i had clicked: [All C & C,wud be much appreciated!]

I could not get the RaW image...

The Best I could get are these only!
