Alright. The Canon 18-55mm IS, for your information does not have barrel distortion! Atleast, none that I can figure anyway!

Hmmm... possibly. This is an older lens and was built to a price. The distortion wasn't all that big like fisheyeing or anything, but I'm kinda picky about some things

@Sherry: A more simpler frame would be better in my opinion. It just takes ALL my attention from the actual subject on hand (the flower).

My main focus was on the smaller images that i posted..and secondly i posted the bigger ones so that ppl have an idea what does the original image look like..!!

But then the other things in the pic have drawn our attention if you want something to be highlighted that particular thing should be focussed,to emphasize that this is the thing i wanted you to see..

i am posting a pic,see it and tell if you can find where the focus is!!
