No, I haven't been to Aquad Yamaha as yet. But, I have a friend from Barrackpore who had given me positive feedbacks about Aquad Yamaha.

I bought my 2nd gen Unicorn in Feb 2007 from them and still service my bike there after all these years.
After the free services were over, I tried some local garages and castrol bike point near to my place, but was disappointed with the lack of technical knowldege / quality of tools / original spares
due to which they would often use non-oem spares and try to convince me that these are better and cheaper than originals .

Hence after 1 or 2 services, resorted back to V J Honda ( which is comparatively little far from my place ) and to say I am happy with my decision would be an under-statement.

I opted for their AMC offer after free services. The major points which I would like to bring to notice are as below

1) Timings - 7 am to 9 pm All days except Friday when timings are 10 am to 6 pm - ( boon for the working people )
2) No weekly offs
3) Efficient and well trained polite staff
4) Sales / Spares / Service section at the same location
5) Easy availability of genuine spares
6) 3 Floors service section
7) Engine oil is always poured from official cans. In 7 years, Never seen those 200 litres drums we normally see in other service centres.
8) Break down service offer till 15 kms
9) Effective customer relationship and grievance redressal mechanism
10) Service booking by telecalling and satisfaction call check after delivery
11) Female Service Advisors for female riders

This review will be incomplete without special mention of Mr. Sachin Chandane ( Service Advisor / Body Shop Incharge - Cell 07798880813 ) who has guided me and looked after my bike since the beginning. Thanks to him, I have enjoyed my journey with Honda Unicorn and looking good for many years to come

Bajaj SVC: Krishna Bajaj, Fun n Shop Mall, Fatima Nagar, Pune. (Landmark: Renault showroom, Royal Enfield Showroom, INOX Cinema)
Quality of Sales: 3.5/5 (I mean if you are a non techy guy, then 5/5 bang on). Little to poor knowledge on their premium bikes. But they are very prompt, never delayed anything. In fact, bike was delivered way before their commitment. They are open all days except SUNDAYS. They have an equally good showroom at Pune-Satara Road.

Quality of After Sales service: One word - AWESOME. Their Service Manager is technically qualified and knows your bike well. He specially treats their premium bike owners nicely(220F, RS200, 200NS). But that does not mean you can take them for granted. One has to be patient with his turn. You cannot expect that he will leave a Discover/Platina bike owner(who has come before you) and attend you, all because you have a Pulsar 200 RS or 220F. I have always got my bike serviced upto my expectations. You give your bike early in morning and they send you an SMS that your bike is serviced along with the cost of service by late afternoon. No delays in about 2 years. Very prompt. Spares always available. Name it and they have it. They are open all days from 10-5 pm. The number of bikes given for service at another Bajaj Service centre near Jagtap Chowk has declined severely after this one opened.

The best thing is that their workshop has all tools working on pneumatic(air pressure). So I have never seen anyone taking a hammer and banging on a part that wont come off. You feel happy when you see your bike getting serviced.

If you are going to give your bike for service, then no need to PAY for parking. If the parking guy bothers you, just tell him I need to into Bajaj for service, not parking. I am not sure, but they seem have sorted this issue out. One challenging thing is that to get you bike into the workshop, there is a 45 degree sloping rail. They dont expect you to take your bike up, but I love doing that. I insist their guy to let me take it up. The first time he was like "You are responsible if you fall", I was like "OK". Infact, I have helped them put other bikes into their workshop as well.

Cheating factor: 1/5: There were occasions when some guy tried to put refilling oil at 4000K(Oil in enine was Motul300V). I told him BAJAJ guarantees 10000K refill interval. Why refill? Only top-up bro. As it is I would draining that to put Motul 300V.
Then one time, he changed the Right Hand Gasket Cover(INR 35) dont know what for.
The once, he said load balancing gear is damaged(I was like if he says estimate of 1000-2000, i will bang him). But he said INR 250. I said OK.
Actually, this much is acceptable to me. Reasons: This is their sales strategy. If we were they, we would also do the same. Second, I dont want to get into unnecesary arguments for INR 20-200. A friend of mine got into such argument once, and the mechanic made his bike even worse. Then again argument starts. Why bother. He happy, I happy, all happy.

I go to this guy for minute problems, Motul 300V oil refill, small mods, tighten nuts/bolts/screws/etc..
Quality of Mechanic: There are many mechanics, but ALI bhai is the best. He does service and repairs as if it was his bike. Never saw him mishandling any other bike as well.
The owner of this shop is also very good, humble and polite. (He is the only one who wears spectacles and looks like a seth)
