I feel that the helmet is definitely worth the price I paid for it. Wind noise is not unbearable. But if you still feel that wind noise is unbearable then you can always use Ear Plugs.

Quality is really good, except for a minor glitch. Stitches in the base liner of my helmet started giving up. This happened despite taking good care of it. Perhaps hard luck only with me.

Another thing that I'd like to mention is the visor. If proper care is taken, it stays like new. I always cover it when I don't wear it and I clean it with a soft cloth whenever I find any grim on it. The visor is like new even after everyday use.

Noise, It has never bothered me since I'm used to wearing earphones/earplugs most of the time. However at speeds less than 80 within the city, wind noise is well under control.

Bought a MT Matrix Track spirit yesterday after a long search. Apparently the stocks weren't not available in Chennai with Spartans pro gear too.
Took it for a 100 km ride and I am absolutely impressed with the quality of this helmet, the noise insulation is top class and the wind noise is not too much. The build quality of the helmet is also very good comparing the LS2 FF358 helmet.

Worth the cost!

Can anyone tell me the pros of Matrix over Blade and the cons of Blade over Matrix? Any idea about the current selling price @Bangalore? Is iridium visor available locally for Matrix?

I'll be buying one among Blade or Matrix for daily use. Dropped HJC due to warranty issues.

I have been using the MT Blade alpha since 3 months now, and I feel its a lot comfortable over my previous LS2 helmet, as the padding inside is very thick and is very well cushioned, can't say about the Matrix, as I didn't try that. You can personally check them out at Moto-101, a shop on Lalbagh road, opposite to MTR hotel as he is the dealer of MT helmets in Bangalore and I bought it from him which costed 6250/- and I also bought a smoked visor for it, even though MT Blade helmets come with an internal sun visor, I was a bit skeptical to use them as I had read many reviews about them becoming loose over a period of time, so haven't used it at all, and the smoked visor is doing a superb job with regards to the vision as most of the my rides or commutes to office is during nighttime and its a lot clearer and I paid an extra 1k as I also wanted to keep the plain visor too if in case I wanted to swap them when required, otherwise one can get it changed without having to pay anything extra.

OH...then you will have to wait for a while though, no definite dates announced for neither of those models....only assumptions that they might be launched on a certain month....fingers crossed though...
