I messaged them on Facebook about the sizing. It looks like the sizing will be the same as your regular shirt. I wear a 42" shirt, and I was told to get a L-size jacket. Don't take my word for it, though. Contact them.

that's why such stuff shouldn't be bought online, go to the shop, and try out every recommended size, plus one size larger AND smaller, you will be able to judge yourself which size is the correct one for you, from the angle of pinch points, snug fit, shifting of the armor, everything...

do not bother too much about 42" or L/XL.

        Agreed!

But for someone like me, who's living arguably far from Bangalore (since we're talking about TBG), I think it's an inconvenience that has to be endured. I really hope they have easy exchange policies.

Got the TBG ADV Breed Jacket from Lets Gear Up at HSR Layout, Bangalore this weekend. The damage is Rs 7950/- Did a fair bit of research on this one, the SPG ASPIDA Helios (almost the same price) and the Rynox Tornado and concluded that the TBG is a better buy given that it has level 2 armors all round. Did not get to try out the Rynox one and didnt have any more patience either with fresh stocks of the TBG jackets arriving

The first two pages have already covered the product in enough detail, my advise is to ensure that you get as snug a fit as possible and err on the side of a tighter fit as the jacket will break in after you have ridden in it. Try it without the inner thermal lining (it comes off easily with a zipper and two sets of internal buttons at the ends of either sleeve) since you may spend a considerable amount of time w/o the thermals. There are a couple of nifty pockets inside (waterproof) for you phones, knick knacks and such.

Have also been using the TBG Street gloves for a week now and so far so good. The leather construction is pretty good and one develops a pretty good feeling of fingers on the levers through the material.

I must say you've embodied safety pretty quick w.r.t other entrants who've forayed into the world of motorcycles.
A SOL + TBG gear is awesome. Make sure you get something similar for 'her' as well. Pillion safety is as important.

Do these gloves come with any kind of warranty? I bought the same gloves few months back (around september or October I can't recollect) and as you said the fit is fine and gives a good feeling when riding with the gloves. Recently the velcro on both the gloves has stopped functioning. I mean they don't stick. Not a bit. I haven't communicated about this issue with the good folks at LGU. I hope they will try and fix the velcro or replace it. Other than the velcro issue, it's a good product.

They come with a 6 month warranty on the construction and should definitely apply to stitching/armor parts coming off. Now am not sure how the velcro bit will be treated given that its subjected to wear and tear.

Why dont you check with them?

There are two numbers listed on their Facebook page. Did you try both of them? In any case, they're travelling and are going to report back to work from 7th onwards as per my last communication with Sapna at LGU..

Even i got by TBG ADV Breed jacket last saturday. The jacket has this slim fit kind of fitting. There are no waist adjusters so may be that is why those are designed like that. The Jackets are pure VFM for the features/safety it provides. Now lets see how it handles daily wear and tear and god forbid an accidental slide.

BTW one can ping Let's gear up on facebook. They reply to messages in an hour or so.

I made the transfer today. I called a moment ago, and they said I can expect it to be shipped on Monday and reach me in a day or two hence.

I ordered the ADV Breed and a pair of TBG Streets. The Street wasn't available in all-black, so I am choosing red + black.

After months of waiting, I hope I get a perfect fit. I'd really hate to go through the process of exchanging et al.

Got my adv breed jacket today. First impressions, looks cool, attention to detail is evident, jacket is a bit heavy, and the armour at the elbow moves around a bit even after tightening the sleeve adjustment. Although, the armour will be where it should be in case of a fall.
Most of the things are already mentioned, so here's one thing I dint read in the above posts is the color coded buttons on the sleeves of the thermal liner. This makes it easy to lock the liner on to the jacket correctly , and the liner doesn't hamper the ingress or egress since it's firmly locked to the jacket. I had ordered a L and and XL, decided to keep the L. Reason: the L is a very snug fit and a bit uncomfortable with the liner, and just about as snug but more comfortable without the liner. Whereas the XL fits perfectly and is comfortable with the liner. But since I'll be using it mostly in and around Mumbai, the usage of the thermal liner is going to be very limited. Hence I believe, L is better suited to me..
Haven't riden after wearing it yet. So, no personal opinion on that front. Hope to ride with the same jacket for a few years to come. Cheers
                              Ride safe..
