I actually spoke to Mohammed Anwar yesterday evening. Nice chap, sounded very young and very helpful with explanations. I posed this same question about armor for the back and he said the same thing you did, that the quality as good as other ones priced a bit higher. I also asked him about knee guards and he offered me a pair of Scoyoco K11s (knee-shin guard plus elbow guard combo) for 2.6K. He sent me a text requesting all measurement details in order to avoid any size mismatch and the price was 2.9K with free shipping. But he told me shipping will be delayed (by a day or two) on account of TN elections. I have some spare time with me and if I wait for that jacket, my touring plans would get cut down by that much time and I am short on the latter already. A bit confused now. A single day trip to Mumbai will help me get all the things I want on the same day but at a much greater price.

Would recommend folks to check out his other offerings as well. He has higher priced riding jackets as well that come loaded with a lot of features and are competitively priced at the same time.

Nice to see your review about MotoWear jacket.
I was hunting for a riding jacket yesterday in chennai and found MotoWear jackets at "Rayyan Trading Company, Mountroad, Chennai".
The owner told me that they are the manufacturer of MotoWear jackets and he is very good at promoting these jackets, looks like they do a lot of customisation on the jacket and provide aftersales service.
I gave a trial of these jackets and its fit and comfort felt really good.

Since it is almost 6 months, can you please tell us about its quality and long term review.
I'm going to get my first riding jacket and after having auditioned Aspida, Scimitar and Cramster jackets, I found these as good value for money jackets.

Their range starts from 3500 Rs(with armour and without inner linings) and has good range of jackets with them, right from denim to leather.
I'm confused just because they are not well known in the market otherwise, I'm happy with what I saw and felt.
Your comments on your long term usage can give me an idea on these jackets.

Sorry for late reply. I am still in recovery mode from my last accident. Was wearing the same jacket when it happened. took the impact very well, saved my elbow and shoulder. No scratch on my body.
The irritation of guards not being in place has gone now after so many usage.

I dont know the current price tag these come in. But for daily usage in summers its perfect. Being mesh and no liners its not recommended for winters (Delhi weather).
Since the basic cramster jacket is now 6k, i guess one who is on budget can start with this jacket.

Yes he is a very friendly person i also purchased the mesh jacket and riding boots ..very economically priced..good quality and comfortable...go for it guys..

MOTOWEAR RIDING JACKET BY H&b FASHION

So friends after buying the Dominar 400 in January this year i was looKing to buy a economical riding jacket for around 5k with reasonable protection.

I tried may diffrent make and material was all set to buy Rynox Air gt but while trying, one of the adjuster broke at the shop itself so did not buy it and the cramster breezer 4s was above my budget.
Came back home and started searching the web for some good local/ generic make which suits my pocket . Was getting Vega jk21 for 2.5k but the size was large and i needed medium one for the perfect fit, considered lediior , cascara, rynox etc. And became very confused .
Then out of luck I stumbled upon one fb page of H&b fashion a Local maker of jackets and other protective gears based in chennai. Selected one of their jacket in full balck colour with ce rated armours and price is 4.4k with free delivery.
So contacted Mr.M.Anwar via whatsapp and he gave me full details with different colour options. So i selected the one i liked and made the payment through IMPS 4.4k on saturday and he shipped it on monday i got it on Thursday (Chennai to Delhi).
Details.
1 It is mesh plus cordura 600D jacket .
2 Has ce rated armour for elbow.
3 Ce rated pads for shoulder as they claim and assured me.
4 Dual density back protector which can be upgraded.
5 Removable rain plus thermal liner.
6 All zippers ykk.
7 Adjusters at elbow and cuffs for perfect fit.
8 They added collar on request.
9 3m reflective lining all around.
10 Zippers at cuff area for ease of wearing.

I also porvided them my perfect size.
Had a small ride wearing it and it is perfect fit and very comfortable. Totally bang for buck.
Overall a very nice and up to the mark jacket. Very close to rynox air gt. And fit finish is also good.
