        Solace Passion Gloves Review

I came to know about Solace "Born for Bikers" website when i was looking for a riding jacket. they are based in bengaluru and offer protective gear in a budget and have some good products in their inventory, one of which is the SOLACE PASSION Gloves. At Rs 1,450 the passion is probably the best VFM city riding glove in the market. So, without further ado i ordered a pair from their website. (took 3 days via speed post to reach Andamans).

        First Impression
Stylish looking, perfect fit and comfortable, combination of leather (Cow aniline) and stretchable fabric on the top. Amara fabric, leather and Schoeller Keprotec on the palm. The stitches are done brilliantly and the knuckles are of carbon fiber (finish). the fingers have rubber padding and vented sliders for ventilation. overall, a good looking product offering protection beyond its price tag. the only downside of the design is the solace logo with their website details, they should either remove it or get a new logo.

Do post a review for the twister, planning to get them from my ladakh trip next year (Twister or the Zeus Aqua pro)

Nice short review. I have Solace Passion in my mind as suggested by a senior xBhp member. But have two doubts.
                  1. Does the color gets washed out in rain or when the gloves come in contact with water?
                  2. Do you think it can protect fingers during winters(12-20 degrees)?

                    1. There is no issue yet with color washing out. will update you if it does.
                    2. No, i don't think so. they allow alot of air inside for ventilation. may be just may be if you wear a glove liner (Quechua's) inside should be enough for kolkata winters

Try the Zeus Aqua Pro if budget is not a constraint or the gloves Rjay is using, Cramster Twister (Winter gloves)

Re: Review for Solace Passion Gloves

ordered the Solace gloves last Friday. Will surely be an upgrade for me from ProBiker gloves which I have been using for 3 years now
I was not looking for anything over 2k as I had to get riding boots and riding pants under a budget of 15k.
Thanks to the OP. I came about this product here and also then searched and found many positive reviews about Solace gears. I have ordered the Threshold boots as well.

Re: Review for Solace Passion Gloves

Have been using these gloves from past 2 months, found them to be comfortable. The best part of the gloves is that the gloves have good ventilation for the air to pass, my hands don't sweat while using them in Mumbai Heat. Would Recommend them for summer riding.

The gloves look study and trustworthy which can handle slow or medium speed crashes but I wish they had covered the bottom of all fingers with leather like they did to the little finger.

                                1. Below the knuckle protectors, there is a small pocket which can be used to keep parking tickets and some cash on the go.

                                Verdict:

Cons: Lesser known Amara fabric, Stretchable fabric piling on contact with velcro, 1 air vent in the right hand glove, Less EVA padding.

The pros does outweigh the cons and i would recommend these gloves for the short city rides.
