New seats are available @ Bangalore.. in Shivajinagar i believe.. dont know the exact name of the shop.. bangy members might be able to help you. I have such a seat with fiber base. better than the OE metal pan.. this will never rust.

dude i think my RDs first owner has the stock HT pipes. i was about to buy it, it has no dent and looks good, with neat and perfect sound!! i dropped the plan cos hes qouting 15k. so now happy with my LTpipes

Swapping LT pipes with HT ones wont make any difference.. if u have an HT, and wants that "complete" stock look, then its ok.. otherwise, not worth the money. My 86LT has HT pipes on it.. it may be from the first batch of LTs which has restrictor plates on exhaust ports.. never checked though..

i have the HT pipes on my '84 HT , but i personally feel that the LT pipes sound better and smoother than the HT ones throughout the revrange whereas the HT ones sound all ding tring tring below the powerband and sound orgasmic near the redline on a stock engine.

Well here is my ownership experience of RD
My cousin used to own one i was always a wide eyed pillion i was in 8th std i decided to have an RD whenever i got the chance.
first when i started the search for the RD everyone said why r u going for RD this bike is just a white elephant n spares r also hard to find. but i decided to go ahead first few months were just irritating either the owner was quoting too much or wherever i went they say sorry mate we have sold the bike yesterday
i tried to find one in scrap condition then i get to know abt 2 RDs with scrapdealer when i went there answer was the same i've sold them one week ago. RD was eluding me. at last i found one the owner was selling the bike
due to back problem i just saw the pics n got the price finalized. the owner was so generous he gave me the bike wid new tires n battery . when i got the bike i was very happy

now as far as ownership experience goes i'm delighted with my RD. i think RD is a very reliable bike u just have to keep an eye on 2T oil.i've ridden 300 kms without even single hiccup
as far as availability goes i must say it is better then those LML bikes(Edreno, energy) i am very happy i listened to my heart when i decided to go for an RD instead of brain.
