I would recommend to swap rear with Unicorn's with some modifications to the mounting screws.

Stock monoshock fails it can't be repaired or adjusted. Also it's very pricy [emoji51] i bought it for around ₹7000 and it lasted for like 7 months.

Many local track bikes use honda Unicorn's monoshock with mods. And it works like a charm.

Hello everyone! This is Shreyas Chaphekar here from Indore.
I have been into offroading for some time now and so, I recently bought a 2012 hero impulse.
Currently the bike is running on fully stock setup but I need to change the tyres, most prior as they have worn out. Any suggestions about wheels, tyres or any other necessary mods?

                Hi, New to this group.
Had been looking for used impulse. Came across this guy. 2014 year, 17k kms done. He says he has karizma engine dropped on it since day 1. Asking 65k inr.
What prechecks I'd need to perform on the cycle?
                Thanks

A stock Impulse would have been a choice but stay away from modded Impulse as they can break down quite frequently and will have to be shuttered as you will find it tough to source spares.

Have you got the rear suspension for impulse, Yesterday I came across the website https://www.zedlingsuspension.com/ They have some custom made suspension for impulse too.
I have never used their products not connected to those people.

                    Regards

Thanks. Unable to find stock engine impulse. I really need to get a bike - impulse is the choice. Xpulse is listed for 99k, 2019 year, 11000 kms done. Fi
Karizma engine parts are scarce too?

                        Hi All,

I need to update chain, sprockets, air filter, clutch plate and pressure plate for my Impulse.

Any good suggestion on from where it can be sourced will be very helpful.
Currently situated at Bengaluru, previously in Ahmedabad, Hero's main spare part dealer knows me which make it very easy to source any spare parts.

I tried Hero's online portal namely HGPmart but not much spare parts found for Impulse. How is SAFEX .

                        Thanks,

Try to get from nearby dealership, place order with them after paying a little advance.

Stay away from Safex by all means.

I used it 2 years back. they are soft compound tyres. uneven wear. cracking at button edges. it lasted only 10k kms. i paid only 4500rupees for both the tyres.now they are so expensive.

                              Hello everyone!
I own a stock Impulse and I'm using it for dirt track. Initially the stock setup was good as I had just started but now I think it can do with a little bump in the performance.
Thinking of getting a carburetor swap and a custom exhaust system.
Can anyone suggest a good carburetor, I asked a few people and they told me to get a NS200 unit. Is it a good or else, is there any better value for money option?Click image for larger version

                                Hi,
My rear monoshock is in need of a replacement, heard people have tried Unicorn and Fz's rear monoshock. How's the feedback while offroading and touring?
May the sun rise infront of me,
the rain fall behind me and the wind follow me.
May the angels guard my travels for they know what's ahead of me.
Keep me safe through rolling hills, swirling turns and bad roads.

Lord, thank you for letting me a Biker.
