sure somen , so far all riding has been in traffic , it heats up like any other superbike , 1st & 2nd gear most of the time , moment you get space to put her in the fifth its total magic , pick up fantastic both starting & rolling . HOG rides are coming up kerala is having the founders drive next month . in fact the southern hog ride with over 200 bikers starts from blangalore to hampi tomorrow .

added the lockable fuel cap , quite a nifty thing with harley branding & self locking mechanism, also got the spanner for adjusting the rear shocks needed as this makes a great difference in the ride quality . I am 69 kgs & the softest setting is really good . Learnt how to use the spanner to adjust the same when carrying a pillion . also must admit sheepishly learnt that last 2 days I was not locking the bike , was under the impression that removing ignition key was also locking bike . figured the same ke is to be used to do a fork lock !!!.

low GC not an issue really

ten days of superlow riding in and around cochin & my biggest fear before buying the superlow has more or less vanished . I think the key is the right shock setting & going on bumps gently . today for the first time hit the bottom wit a thud on a most idiotic road bump couldnt go around it & it was an abrupt bump , so all those out there having this doubt rest assured unless you are the road carving style of rider ( in which case a cruiser is the wrong choice anyway ) for almost all practical purposes the GC is fine . only invest in a shock spanner & adjust shocks as required I am 69kgs so 5 is fine in case of a pillion a 3/4 will be required .

good one buddy...for all those who ask you such a question ain't worthy of the answer in the first place...Whatever people say, Harley Davidson is a dream bike even for super sport addicts. You got one and nothing should stop you from enjoying it to the core since Regrets do cost a lot more...

Congratulations on your new purchase. What are the other bikes you considered before making a decision on Harley? What is the on road price including road tax? Please share your riding experience on roads in Kerala? Did you find any problem parking the bike in public place? How was your experience with Spicecoast?
                              Regards

A very pertinent question thomas , the only other bike officially available in kerala is hyosung ( nop choice ) & ninja 650, however their response at probiking ( i followed up with both trivandrum & ernakulam dealerships was pathetic , all they do is write down your no in some chit of paper & do that every time you call /visit them . finally I gave up though 650 was launched not a squeak so if sales effort is like this you can imagine how service will be .

superlow in stock form onroad is 6.26 but harleys have so many options to customise the actual budget can vary significantly , the 3 superlows in cochin have a range from 6.6L to 7.25 L its a addictive although expensive habit

experience with spicecoast was really good , am a customer of theirs already they have the honda cars , yamaha bikes & audi & are as good as they come anywhere in the world . though make sure you meet the right people Thampu john/mathew /syam .

As for the parking in public places like any other big bike best to be around near the bike just in case , we had the founders ride yesterday about 20 bikes with MD of harley india anoop also riding along. was great fun .

pictures from the founders ride on 21st oct , anoop MD harley india rode along with us too
