Ah! Finally finally!! After waiting for 15 days which seemed like decades and all the devoted reading on whatever little I could find on rc 200( max data was from this thread).. Finally my babe is coming home tomorrow!!

Congratulations on your new bike! Hope we could expect your ownership review soon and some visual treat! Confirm with the dealer you are getting the 2015 model and do a proper PDI before taking delivery. All the best

Actually a new stock had rolled out on the same day I went to book my beauty... If I had full cash available on that day... I could had taken one home... Since I was thinking on taking finance option... And later due to my schedule... I couldn't visit the showroom for a week... And a week passed on for finance approval... So... Practically bike was always available here (ktm indiranagar) without waiting period

Actually a new stock had rolled out on the same day I went to book my beauty... If I had full cash available on that day... I could had taken one home... Since I was thinking on taking finance option... And later due to my schedule... I couldn't visit the showroom for a week... And a week passed on for finance approval... So... Practically bike was always available here (ktm indiranagar) without waiting period

You are lucky man, the dealer here is still not sure when i will get my bike. I guess i'll have to mail ktm india about the uneven waiting period.

Actually, the stock rolled out when I was in the showroom for a while by then and had spoken with one of the executives there. The guy wasn't assertive on the delivery period and was stressing on 3 month waiting period. Even after the stocks arrived, he didn't give any confirmation on the delivery date. I think, he wasn't pretty sure on when next stock would arrive. Even I was awestruck when I recieved a call last saturday from showroom that my finance was approved and they would roll out the bike on monday, if I could pay down payment that day!

So, the problem isn't very specific to your showroom guy. I was just lucky with my timings..

I feel that the placement of the Horn on this bike is not optimized for the work it is suppose to do. Every time i honk i get more sound to hear myself than the targets . Anyone else feel the same ?

Also how do guys lock the helmet with this bike. Using a cable lock or any helmet lock attached to bike or you carry with yourself all the time !!

Hello riders I'm yet to book my rc.i have a small doubt regarding the pillion seat.is the pillion seat tough enough to resist scratches.my present fzs has a lot of scratches caused by cats.but luckily there's a seat cover on it.but considering there is no seat cover for the pillion seat of rc.will the seat gets scratched up easily?

Cats doesn't like Yamahas, they love KTMs, they won't harm the RC seat..

Default horn is one heck of a noise and I hate it. Even a pedestrian would never mind your horn. I have almost stopped using my horns! Helmet lock on a RC is possible, you could use the pillion grab handle for this (at least it will be useful for holding helmets LOL). But it won't look good. I carry my helmet all the time. I hate even a single scratch on my helmet and it is also a prized possession like my bike. My Helmet

You are kidding right? If you add a pillion backrest, you might also need seat belts to hold your pillion with the backrest

Abfter hearing from [MENTION=75830]prithvikamayya[/MENTION] about his bike being delivered within 15 days , i mailed KTM about why my dealer is saying that the bike will be delivered in 2 months while in bangalore the bike is available for ready delivery and the dealer called me and said that we just have to say about late delivery because if by any chance we are not able to deliver it in the given period we are at blame. And then said that generally the bike is delivered within 30-40 days and your bike should be delivered by 15th to 20th march latest! so now i am a bit relieved knowing that my ride will be soon in my hands!
