Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Are they offering discounts on the XT variant also now ? or was it a UT ?Originally posted by jackfra View PostHi all
Today I was called up by mojo dealer to take delivery of the bike..but sadly the bike wasn’t well prepared for delivery..(full of dust and scratches here and there). I think they were busy in delivering vehicles..there were small dots in the tank where paint has been pealed of here and there.so I refused to take the delivery.. requested them to atleast clean and remove scratches before delivering it tomorrow . Before alloting the bike I had requested them to show the vehicles to choose from but they said each of the mojo bikes are well inspected(pdi) and cross checked so no need to do so.. and they alloted one of the bikes randomly- which have the condition which I mentioned above. Don’t know what they are going to do tomorrow ..
The second concern is about the discount Mahindra is giving. The discount which the Mahindra was giving were 60000. It’s not certain that customers will get flat 60k discount. It’s the discretion of dealer to decide about the amount of discount and there is not criteria in giving the discount. What dealers were saying was “the dicount is up to 60000 and it’s our decision to decide how much discount the customers should get” What I got is around 53k discount from the projective onroad price of 190000(ex showroom price: 161000, tax:17500, insurance:10600, temp reg charge 310) and my onroad price is around 136500. The concern is that when Mahindra is giving such heavy discounts why the dealers are reluctant to pass them to the customers don’t know about the under gaming behind this..
Any way am happy to get such a good bike..and thanks to all of you who give their experiences and thoughts in this forum which helped me to choose the bike

No bro , Jawa is not going to sell Mojo as that is different entity. All the bikes were delivered at home and they are coming up with a new Mahindra Showroom.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
You can check VIN number/chassis number of your vehicle and determine month and year of manufacture.Originally posted by Gurinderjit Singh View PostSorry buddy, did not check that... And RC will take some more time.
I had purchased Rapid last year, did a lot of research /discussion regarding manufacturing date, but 8 months purani hi mili because no one was having latest manufactued one...
So didn't research much this time
You can use the guide given below to help decode it.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Just wanted to share my initial views about the MOJO UT...
Took the delivery yesterday and completed just 60 kms today...
1. I can feel the buzz on my knees at tank, I think its the fan.. Most of the ride was in heavy traffic and Delhi is also getting hotter by the day
2. It requires lots gear changes in city, maybe because I was riding scooter recently that's why I m feeling like this
Used to ride Enfields long ago and muscle memory of that is gone so can't compare but I felt gears need to worked with a lot in city

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Congrats, Mr. Singh. Ride hard and ride safe.
I understand this information has been shared previously somewhere in thread, just re-iterating information from my recent conversation with showroom personnel:
-> New Mojo will arrive in 3rd or 4th week of April'19 with updated compliance as per new regulations
-> Will be powered by XT's mill
-> Twin exhaust gets trimmed, only one to feature in new models
-> USD forks dropped to replace conventional set-up
-> Pirelli remains, can have different version to increase longevity
IMO, manufacturer is responding to buyer's feedback and putting best effort to undercut pricing competition.
Very optimistic and looking forward to improved breaking feedback, lighter kerb weight and better performance.
