What they would be selling in between? They can not sell any Mojo from 1st April 2019, i.e. the coming Monday. So will they be sitting idle with an empty showroom?
Also, after this kind of situation, where any dealer may shut operation anytime, who would put their hard earned money on this bike?

If they were to give ABS, why did't they do it earlier? It's not rocket science, it is a available technology. As far as I know, no company manufactured non abs bikes after April 28, 2019.

Lesson Learnt: Never buy a product that might not exist in the market after 3 years. It does not matter if it is a long term product.

Some of the reasons I'm eyeing Mojo is comfortable riding ergonomics, build quality and cost of ownership. Only flip side I've come to know is breaking feedback which I'm hoping would get resolved post introduction of ABS. If the pricing is competitive and undercuts Dominar by INR 20k-25k on road, I'll go for it without a second thought.

I've extensively toured on my Suzuki Gixxer 155 & I'm still in love with my steed, ODO reads 33k. Engine still has all the character of newly purchase Gixxer , cost of ownership is light on pocket and is built to last. It is just the riding stance which tires me (or I'm incapable now ) , hence the lookout mode. I'll still wish keep it for my daily commute.

Thanks, Jazzysaravana. Two-three weeks should be worth the wait, isn't it? Keeping high hopes in good faith.

    • Mojo XT: No discount, continues to be sold at similar price

As per dealer (Delhi), ABS version is expected to arrive in Mid of April and price may get revision of INR 15k upward. Dear in Gurgaon has no clue on arrival of ABS machines.

Seems Mojo UT will see end of road and XT's future is in doldrums. I'm still considering a reliable, built to last & touring friendly machine which Mojo definitely is but alas, seems Mahindra isn't upbeat about the product and may phase out due to low sales. All focus has shifted towards Jawa considering limelight it has garnered and massive advance booking.

My quest for a tourer continues...

Yes there is a great discount going on for MOJO UT , bcoz they cant register Non ABS bikes post 1st April 2019

    - 40000 Discount straight away
    - 60000 Discount with Exchange Bonus
    - 75000 Discount for Mahindra Employees

Its a loot lo offer , If budget is not a constraint wait for a month as MOJO production is going to start in new Fiscal Year . Cureently they are training all the Technicians for upcoming MOJO with ABS

And MOJO is never going to be discontinued bcoz of JAWA. Bcoz MOJO is their home grown product while JAWA is in partnership with CLPL

Yes one of my friends also got a UT300 for ₹1.5lakh on road Bangalore after discounts about a month ago.

Like I said previously in my posts. There is gonna be only a one Mojo from now on. It's the 2019 XT300 ABS, without USD forks and a deletion of one exhaust.

Indeed, very sad affair with mojo.! I certainly don't want such a reliable and good product to die this way..!!! Mahindra need to do something..!!

It seems the end of Mojo is near. Almost April and no news on ABS. Sales down to single digit over the last couple of months. I wonder what the existing owners would do?
Bajaj Dominar is still weak on sales, but what it actually has done, is killing the Mojo completly.
