It's as per design though, UT is underpowerd compared to the XT, 23 vs 27 PS power, 25 vs 30 Nm torque, Carb vs Fi.Originally posted by Ijs View PostBrother riding xt and ut back to back, ut felt underpowered amd choked. Xt would be my pic if were in the market for mojo.
But they have to work or service Network.
UT lacks that sharp throttle resp and grunt in mid-range .

Thanks for the update!!!Originally posted by twinthrottle View Post
Jawa and Mahindra Two Wheelers are two different entity but yes out of 105 Jawa dealers 29 are Mojo dealers, but dont worry Jawa and Mojo will be sold through different dealership with different SVCs etc. And for your Sursprise BS6 MOJO with ABS is going to be launched very soon.

Ha ha, no worry MOJO ABS is going to be launched very soon and the SPY pics started flowing ,So expect it in Feb . Jawa and Mojo are two different categories of bikes , Mojo is more inclined towards Tourer nature while Jawa Towards City riding . Took a test ride of jawa but somehow it didnt checked my checklist bcoz my preferance was tourer type of motorcycle.Originally posted by Abhishekilke View PostThank you for the offer, i just had a discussion with my dad and we've decided that we will buy a new Mojo or one of the two Jawas whichever we like the most in June. Till then, Mahindra will launch the ABS model. I am too much of a p**** to ride a motorcycle without ABS
. Thanks again!

Or will it be sold through Jawa dealerships? Just like Kawasaki was sold through KTM dealerships..Mahindra seems to show no interest in Mojo...

USD forks are PAIOLI made.Originally posted by Abhishekilke View PostI've never really considered a Mojo but off late i've been thinking of buying it as a first bike as a 2nd hand as i would be upgrading to a higher capacity motorcycle. I will be mostly touring. Do you think it is a good idea to look at 2nd hand ones? How has the reliability been so far? I live in Pune so owners from Pune I would like to hear about the aftersales experience. Btw what make are the USD forks?

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yes agree ABS is a safety feature and it should be there but I have been riding it for almost 2 years now...never felt absence of ABS to be a deterrent...if you want pre-owned bike..buy the Mojo....don't buy a pre-owned Bajaj...Originally posted by Abhishekilke View PostThe thing is i am still not in a position that i can afford a new bike as i am still 20, my father will be funding it so i was looking at either a pre-owned Dominar or the Mojo and as i am 6'2 and heavy built the Mojo will suit me better, just that the Mojo doesn't have ABS is a big deterrent for me.

Since your requirement is only touring..Mojo is the best option because it is comfortable, 21 liters fuel tank will give you a good range of 550 kms, it has a very strong built, no rattling sounds except from the chain, the engine is smooth, torque is very good to pull you out from sticky situations.
Solum Automobiles is one of service center in Pune which I know and the other one is somewhere near Nigdi but not sure if they attend Mojo.
The USD forks are manufactured by some Italian company, I forgot the name.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Dear All,
To make this thread more colorful and posting some photos from my recent trip to Gangotri via Uttarkashi and Harsil valley after a long break from Bangalore to Delhi ride. It was an amazing experience and the bike did really well on bad patches. I did not face any issues except loose chain. I will be updating my blog by tomorrow which will be more detailed. Travelling by my motorcycle is like a drug for me. If I don't consume it, I become restless!
