    Hey fellow Xbhpians
This is chaitanya from pune. Recently i brought a second hand Mojo which is 2016 model . I wanted this bike since 2015 when I saw it getting launched but acquired it right now. The bike which i got had 10,000 at the odo and was not used for 6 + months and I serviced it recently. What i have observed is that, There are heavy vibrations near Tank area , but not in handlebar and footpegs . Also I have seen that bike really takes a bit more time reaching 7,000 rpm. In 6th gear ,the speed of 80-90 is around 4-5000 rpm ? It is normal ? Anyone advice will be great.

Very true, you are not alone thinking that way about UT300, when it launched even I was shocked to see the blunder, but no disrespect to any existing UT300 owners here.
But losing so many things for only Rs.30K difference to the XT300 is plain stupid and it's pretty clear that their plan didn't work out and sales figures are the indication.

Losing so many things is not worth:
    1) USD
    2) Twin exhaust
    3) LED parking lights
    4) FI to Carb and finally
    5) Going from Prielli W rated 150 tyres to MRF 140 tyres
    6) The most ridiculous thing being losing 5bhp and 5NM! It might have sold if they had maintained almost same power figures while removing Fi like with the Apache 200v

Also 70-80% people buy bikes on EMI for 3-5years, Rs.30K extra is not a big deal to pay extra approx Rs.600-800 per month to get the XT300 than giving up on so many things, either they should've made a even bigger cost reduction(minimum of 40-45K) and priced it closer to FZ25 or at the least should've maintained the same power figures at that price what they asking for UT300.

    Actually,
Mojo ABS version is ready to launch bike in Mahindra's stable right now. .
Scene is they have done stupidest thing launching UT version of Mojo. And they aren't selling as expected.
So plan is to clear the old stock first then launch ABS version.

I've been silently following this thread for mojo related queries. I'm thinking to buy ABS mojo or Domonar. But still have to wait for both of them to come to market.

Sorry for being so late, even though I had bookmarked the blog way back, never really found time to read it fully.

First of all let me congratulate you for successfully completing the solo 2500kms ride safely, you have done what I couldn't do all these years, put down my papers and take early release before joining elsewhere and go on a long break travelling and riding.

And yes, I can so totally relate to what crazy things people say to us when we tell them about such long distance rides on bike. Once again congrats

Yes, whatever info you have and that has been provided to you is right. Even I checked with Mahindra, Bajaj and KTM here, all have the same plan, 1st year full cover(bike non-zero dep and 3rd party), for 2nd to 5th year only 3rd party, which I felt is plain stupid way of coming up a insurance plan.

You can't add full over separately also after the 1st year to the remaining years. Only KTM told me that you can take full 5years comprehensive(non-zero dep again) from beginning at extra added cost of 1K per year.

Honestly as already Al Quazi suggested, if you can hold on for few more months if you have already waited for so long, you can get all the colors you want along with most important being ABS. You don't want to start feeling that your brand new bike is already old and outdated within 5months when compared to all the other Mojo's on the road post Apr 1st 2019 when you'd have paid almost close to same price.

    - Pune is not listed but sales happening over here , you can take a test ride and the bike is made available at your home directly .
    - They are not into marketing the product, they are happy with the numbers.
    - Mojo has got a good amount of punchy torque thats enough for indian highways
Any more details on the Electric Mojo? Current fuel prices are making a big hole in the pocket and an electric bike is what which can stitch back the pocket

From what I've heard, the ABS model will be launched in a short while. Production has reduced so as to allow clearing of existing stock. However the exact date of launch isn't know yet.

I think it will be prudent for you to wait a couple of months after which the regular colours should be back with ABS.

    Hello Mojo'ians,

    Good day.

I reside in Chennai and mojo is almost a done deal. What I am skeptical about is that the bike colour.

Enquired with the Store manager and he is saying that the Black, White or Sunburn Yellow is not available. Only red white and blue white is available and it is the same scenario on website as well. Only those 2 colours are available. Can some who bough the bike very recently whether the black and the white color variant has been ruled out in Mojo XT300.

Also, if possible, please check with your respective dealers about the color availability for this bike.

If someone has Joydeep's Number or Regional head Mr. Vinoth's number, please do check with them and confirm before I book the no-other options color.

    Thank you all in advance.

And Also, who bought the bike very recently after the Mandatory 5 Years Implementation, please share me how much you have be quoted for the bike for insurance alone. Whether the 5 year insurance will cover the Bike as well as the third party or just the bike for first years and third party for the 5 years. If just 1 year for bike and we have to renew or the rest of the 4 years with the same insurer, it is a bummer and I dont think this is a valid fee payment. This is just intolerance where we are paying more for some third party. Is there a way where we can buy the insurance outside and not with the dealer just because of the high quotation. Please do check and let me know or check with your friends who bough the bike very recently and please do let me know.

    Time for some decision making.

Once again, thank y'all in advance fellas. Happy Biking.

The stock battery went dead so I bought a new one to replace it. Exide XLTZ-9 is a 9AH battery while the stock battery was 11.8 AH but it works fine, costed me about 1500 after exchanging the old one.

And in other news, a third bike joined the garage . No ownership thread for this one exists and I'm not going to add one either, so dumping a pic here -

That's the end of all further bike acquisition plans for many years to come.

And want to know pillion comfort as I rode BS3 version which have a narrow seat.
    Thank you
Hi Sujith...the BS4 has a wider pillion seat...it will be comfortable...plus the bike has got ample amount of torque and power..so even with a pillion sitting behind, there will be no stress on the bike...I am not sure when the ABS version is coming...I would suggest you to wait for sometime and buy the ABS version..

Their website doesn't list Pune as a sales city.
And their marketing team doesn't seem to be doing anything.
I currently own a P220 and while I'm not a speed freak, I do love some good dose of torque because in a country like India, top speeds are as irrelevant as a hand fan in Antarctica.
I don't come under the category of tall and MoJo seat height and contours look like it'll pose a challenge to me.

SVC is the strongest point of Mahindra Mojo
