    Default Bajaj CT100 DX

Hi guys. I own a Bajaj CT 100 DX since January 2005. It is the one with 18" wheels. It has been a trustworthy bike. I have had the bike cosmetically restored recently. If the mods approve the topic, I can post before and after photos alongwith my 11 year experience with this bike.

    Thanks a lot.

Sure I will be little careful in break in process. Since it doesn't have RPM Meter, in Catalog it is advised to keep below 40KMPH for the first 1000KMs and below 45KMPH till 2000KMS.

By the way for CT100 Bajaj is providing only 3 Free Services.
    1. First 500-750KMS
    2. 5000KMS
    3. 10000KMS.

After that we need to get another 3 paid services by 5000KM's interval to avail any Warranty...

Later on I will try to maintain by myself. I believe most of the maintenance tips are there available in 'Hero Moto Splendor/Joy/CD-Dawn/Passion' thread. Infact that is my Guide.

Of course I need all of your suggestions, tips, guidance, etc... if I come across any problems with my motorcycle.

5000 km are too long an interval, at least for an oil change. I would advice you do an oil change outside SVC every 2k or 2.5k km, so that it makes every alternate change at the SVC.

Congrats on your bike. As Divya mentions, unlikely that your engine oil will last 5k. Change as soon as you 'feel' the gear shifts getting rough!

Thanks a lot Divya & Monk.
Even I was wondering 5k interval is too long. I will consider changing by 2k 2.5k or whenever I feel the hard gear shift.
