heard a street 750 with screamin eagle exhaust.....was super loud and attracted everyone in the showroom......

still no plans of loud exhausts....reduces mileage also..

i mean no offences but......IMO loud exhausts are not necessary ....a bike exhaust is okay...no headaches

How was the heat dissipation. I have heard not so good things about the heat management of this bike but then again all the 600+ CC bikes are helpless in B2B traffic. Congrats on your lovely purchase.

PS: Hope cops in poona are not harassing you since your bike is out of state

day i got the bike delivered i couldnt believe a bike can heat up so much...but now i am completely used to it....

heat dissipation is great !!! thats why all heat from engine is dissipated out to the rider

Not a problem till bike is moving....even not a problem if you are wearing full pants....part of experience...

Cops have been kind till date

So how has your experience been so far? I have postponed my desicion of buying it for atleast 6 months as i don't have the required finances right now. Are you having issues with the ergonomics?

                Crisp Review

                1. Selection. Many bikes for consideration..z900...cbr650..no HD though.
But someone suggested to look at the new street rod and it just looked brute....looks in charcoal denim colour are amazing. Add the durability of a HD further assisted in making the go.

2 Purchase Experience. Booked the bike online with Harley Dealership Delhi. They promised the bike within a week as i wanted charcoal denim which was older model and no more available. The colour has been dropped by HD, though IMO its the best colour for this model. Bike was delivered on 06th Apr as per my requirement. Small cake ceremony, though the dealership guys got almost all the cake..only my kid got a piece

                3. Initial Impressions. Looks bigger and bulkier in actual as compared to pictures. A fat front tyre and chunky front shocks give it a solid look. Bike really heavy ( i come from a 1999 cbz). Cant even move a inch without struggling. Sitting posture odd initially but one gets used to in time. Clutch better and softer than cbz. Accelerator also smooth. Tank sits very low between legs, feels awkward, only initially. Rear view mirrors very good, however very wide, prone to hits. Engine is powerful, bike pulls and pulls, sound is also good ( i am not a fan of loud exhausts) and stock exhaust sufficient to inform that a bigger than regular bike is approaching. Engine heat is tremendous. Within five minutes legs start to burn. And when the radiator fan starts, it blows burning hot air directly into your legs.. extremely unconfortable if not wearing jeans and shoes. Heat reaches even the pillion and if he or she without shoes or full pants, expect displeasure from them. Have to take care while filling at petrol pumps, as i could see hot air fumes rising up the tank!. Had to tell the pump guy to be carefull, its so hot. While moving though its good except for an occasional hot air drift. Better is to switch off the bike at traffic lights. Brakes are amazing and ABS works precisely. Headlight good at low beam, however high beam aims a bit high, needs to be adjusted.

                4. Misc. The bike makes you smile every time you accelerate. Red light drag races ( i dont subscribe to them ) are easy wins. Tyres are so grippy during accelerations. The bike has a big road presence, expect many eyes to turn. If one is a fan of loud exhausts, it will turn more heads.

                5. Summary. One cannot go wrong with this motorcycle.

                6. Positives.
                Power
                Road presence
Mileage (18 kmpl approx in mixed riding )
Service interval (8000 km or 01 year)
Service Cost (6800 approx claimed by dealer, though i got one free service and paid ZERO for it at 1600 km. They didn't charge for labour thats regular but what surprised was that engine oil and oil filters were also replaced free of cost! )
Comes with two seats and pillion footpegs, ready to be used by two persons right out of showroom.

                7. Negatives.
Too much heat, thoug you get used to it.
Ergnomics take some time getting used to, and when you do, all other bikes seem very odd when you ride them afterwards.
Pillion is not too comfortable for long drives.
                Heavy.

                8. Hope it helps others to make decisions

                Thank you.

                Hi,

Thanks for the review, I have been riding this bike for almost 1 month now here in Australia and thought I should share my view too.

I never had a cruiser/harley before, my last bike was Triumph Street Triple. I love the looks of this bike ( its a head turner), the mirrors, handle bar . It has a vance and hines slip-on muffler ( sounds amazing ) and the handle bar has been raised around 3 inches.

In my opinion, it is a very very easy to control bike, handles so well in corners/turns and the torque power is amazing. It can pass traffic so easy at red light or while city driving. Personally, I never felt the engine heat, not even a little bit, maybe because i know its a motorbike not a car. Ergonomics was not an issue aswell. I am 183 cms (6feet) and 76 kgs. The ride feel is amazing, above all its a Harley Davidson. Click image for larger version
