        Updates

A small run to bardhaman from Kolkata right before the first service. There is a punjabi dhaba right on the highway there, some of the most delicious food I have ever tasted was made there.

Just out for an evening smoke with friends. Bengali's adda as it is favorably called!

        ----------------------------------------

Got the first service done, costs about 9K, which is pretty cheap, next is 15,000kms or a year later. The bike runs lot smoother, and the fuel efficiency has increased from 13 to 16km/l in city and 22 to 27 km/L on the highways. Which is insane for a liter bike. Adjusted the suspension according to my weight, and now I don't even notice potholes let alone they being a cause for fall. Amazing machine and I love it as my commuter.

The questions, the stares, the attentions never get old, nor does the back crackle sound of the L-twins. Only got one negative comment so far, from a jealous middle aged man who wanted me to buy a harley and rides a RE himself. *cough cough*

          Hi Revconner,

Looking the grocery shopping picture, I remember Yamaha R3's tagline which suits this Ducati and situation perfectly fine, better than R3.
"A super bike you can ride everyday!"
Just concerned of the shopping bag brushing against the lovely (and dearer) fiber panels and causing swirls.

Ducati markets this bike as a daily sports bike so not surprised there. I actually hang the bags in handle, or tie them to the pillion seat with a cord. it was just temporary while I was drinking red bull out there.
