IMHO, the stock exhaust looks ugly and its too wide apart to use in traffic and parking spaces.

Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
The thing is, both Red Rooster and Gursewak haven't made an exhaust specifically for the twins yet. Most of the videos you see online use exhaust designed for the old Gt535's. But this one seems to be very similar to the S&S couldn't find any info on them though.Originally posted by Ijs View Post

Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
Finally autocar India updated their video with pillion foot peg issue. Wondering why it took so long for them to understand this... most likely they saw people complaining and then updated it. Most of the reviewers failed to catch the pillion foot peg issue for sure.

Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
well here are my first impressions, riding this bike after a ninja 650 and therefore irrelevant to compare power and pick up , however power and pickup is still very good specially at lower RPM's , i like the exaust sound it really feels nice to your ears. i am not going over 3000 rpm for the first 1000kms , to ensure the engine settles down well during the break in period. well balanced, vibration free, very easy to maneuver inspite of the weight and size, no issue at all with foot pegs atleast for me, it switches off if you shift gear with side stand on.i have removed the saree guard as well as the lower part of the rear mud guard. want to upsize the rear tyre soon. anyone has any idea about tyre upsizing , i mean broader tyres, pls do let me know. over all i am very happy with the purchase RE has really given more than what they promised.Originally posted by Ninja2012delhi View Postgot delivery of my interceptor on 29th jan-2019 at greater noidaLast edited by Ninja2012delhi; 01-31-2019, 01:15 PM.

How long did you wait after the booking. A freind has booked it recently and he is told that waiting is 90 days.Originally posted by Ninja2012delhi View Postwell here are my first impressions, riding this bike after a ninja 650 and therefore irrelevant to compare power and pick up , however power and pickup is still very good specially at lower RPM's , i like the exaust sound it really feels nice to your ears. i am not going over 3000 rpm for the first 1000kms , to ensure the engine settles down well during the break in period. well balanced, vibration free, very easy to maneuver inspite of the weight and size, no issue at all with foot pegs atleast for me, it switches off if you shift gear with side stand on.i have removed the saree guard as well as the lower part of the rear mud guard. want to upsize the rear tyre soon. anyone has any idea about tyre upsizing , i mean broader tyres, pls do let me know. over all i am very happy with the purchase RE has really given more than what they promised.

Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
I am probably getting my INT delivered this Saturday. I had booked on 8th December 2018 and was told a waiting period of 2 months. So I'm getting it within that time frame.Originally posted by Ijs View PostHow long did you wait after the booking. A freind has booked it recently and he is told that waiting is 90 days.
Yesterday when I visited the showroom for some formalities, the sales rep showed me a WhatsApp message in one of their company groups which said that any new bookings should not be promised delivery before July 2019.Quantity is something that you count

Booking slip says 15 days, and they promise within 90 days could be early too. For custom schemes it is 120 days.Originally posted by steelbreeze View PostI am probably getting my INT delivered this Saturday. Any alloys option available? The first mod I want to do on my bike will be change spokes to alloy and remove tube dependency, since tyres are tubeless supported.Originally posted by Ninja2012delhi View Postwell here are my first impressions, riding this bike after a ninja 650 and therefore irrelevant to compare power and pick up , however power and pickup is still very good specially at lower RPM's , i like the exaust sound it really feels nice to your ears. i am not going over 3000 rpm for the first 1000kms , to ensure the engine settles down well during the break in period. well balanced, vibration free, very easy to maneuver inspite of the weight and size, no issue at all with foot pegs atleast for me, it switches off if you shift gear with side stand on.i have removed the saree guard as well as the lower part of the rear mud guard. want to upsize the rear tyre soon. anyone has any idea about tyre upsizing , i mean broader tyres, pls do let me know. over all i am very happy with the purchase RE has really given more than what they promised.

May I know why you aren't convinced? And Which model & color did you book?Originally posted by aditya13286 View PostGot the call yesterday that the bike has arrived.
I'll be taking the delivery on Sunday ... Hopefully
I'm not 100% convinced about buying it so it might happen that I delay or cancel the booking
I made an online booking in November

Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
Hi all.
My Friend booked on 12dec promised delivery was in feb, but Got his bike on 31dec. No problem faced till now. First service is done and they did replaced some O ring in gearbox for false neutrals which my friend faced once, after which gear shifts are little bit tight(before service, gear changes were butter smooth) and require clutch movement with gear changes, i.e. multiple gears are hard to change in single clutch press which is not a problem for us. I am 5'9" and i dont face any problem now with rider foot pegs, i think now i am habitual to it. H4 leds are straight fit. Overall Bike is perfect. Very easy to ride in traffic.

The bike has slipper clutch , if I'm not wrong you should be able to change gears without using clutch (not recommended though)Originally posted by Varun Sirohi View PostHi all.

Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
It doesn't work that way dear, u can do that but slipper unit helps in tourqe fluctuations while down shifting and prevents wheel spin. It is slipper plus asissted clutch unit here.Originally posted by Dandamudi Mohan Krishna View PostThe bike has slipper clutch , if I'm not wrong you should be able to change gears without using clutch (not recommended though)
For clutch less shifts a quick shifter is also needed. Upshifts are ok without clutch but downshifts should be avoided.
