Hi, for me from 100-120 on 6th gears and highways have always got 30-31kmpl.

Some have got even 34kmpl when kept strictly below 100kph with very mild acceleration through the gears.

    In City,
I always get around 24-27kmpl depending on traffic.

    Cheers

Hi , this is not a good thing you should put neembo mirchi on the Motorcycle to save it from buri nazar(evil sight).[emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787].

On a serious note this is excellent fuel efficiency figures.

        • RE Twins Update Jan 2020

Hi All, I am planning to get my hands on a Conti 650 and walked into a RE Showroom nearby. The representative told me that they have temporarily stopped sale of all models for BS6 update and I would have to wait until March for Conti BS6 variant. I asked if it's possible if they can manage to get me a BS4 one but they told RE doesnt have any in stock ?! What's your say in this guys?

Seems like this way all around but in many cities few dealers has unsold GT so try different dealers. And book the bs6 for now the booking amount is refundable, other 350 bs6 have started arriving at dealerships , possibly other models would come soon.

                Hi ,

From now you can only buy BS6 version. No stock of BS4 anywhere atleast here in Chennai. BS6 launch mostly in a couple of weeks it seems. BS6 deliveries mostly by March end or April.

                Cheers

Hi guys, new Int 650 owner here. Bought on 2nd Jan 2020, last stock of BS4. Wanted to share a very bad experience i faced at service center while i went to install the leg guard and sump guard. The bike was giving a kind of rattling noise from the rear suspension while riding slowly over bumps as if something was loose. So i asked the service guys to check for it when i went for the installation. I kept the bike there and went back after 4 hours. The bike was ready and i did just a small ride on the bumpy service center off road. The rattling noise was still there. The mechanic explained to me it is normal on this bike as there is supposedly a gap between the disc plate and the junction where it is attached. Did not make any sense to me but i thought of coming back to the issue when i come for first service.

So i went out with the bike and while riding back i realise the brakes do not have the same bite and attack anymore. It almost felt like drum brakes. I got extremely angry and disheartened. I called the service center back but no answer, nor any reply to my message to call back asap. Moreover they had washed the bike and cleaned it with some kind of dirty mobil laden cloth which made the bike feel like it was soaked in mobil.

I immediately wrote a mail to Enfield. Waiting for them to get back. But seriously, this is the standard of trained technicians for a flagship product which is supposed to be of international standard? I am thoroughly dissatisfied. I don’t think i can trust the service guys anymore. This wasn’t even first service and they f***ed up the brakes which did not even had any issue and made up a nonsensical explanation for the rattling noise.

I had fallen in love with the bike in these few days, it rode like a dream in every aspect. Especially the brakes were something to write home about. But after this experience it feels like i am riding a different bike.

Just for the records, i bought the bike from East India Agro, Kolkata and went to their own service center.
You can only ride better tomorrow if you ride safe today.

If they have taken out the brake pads then u probably need to pump it few times to get the pressure back if that doesn't work then a simple brake bleed would help.

And I bet the rattling if it is high then it is a from the seat. Just add some rubber to both seat pads and it would be fine, you can test this by keeping some cloth or rag under the seat and then lock it.
The mild thud from front and rear on broken roads is from the floating discs as the rotor is riveted to the spider and there is play(check by hand) and is normal. If it is from suspension then tightening it from bottom main bolt would resolve it .
But i bet the rattling is the naughty seat and many have this (me too). I have added rubber from battery belt on the seat pads and now it doesn't rattle.

Why can’t the service center take care of it like you explained so clearly? I have no idea if they took out the brake pad but they should have explained it to me. I have tried pumping the brakes a lot while riding back, it just doesn’t have that bite and attack anymore.

                          Can't say anything about them.
For brake try cleaning the rotor/disc with soap water and pads with brake cleaner or moist cloth, don't see the need to use sandpaper on new pads but it cam be used a little scrub wont harm anything. Try these and see if it helps otherwise get the brake bleed done if u don't know how to do it.
Also u can adjust the brake paddle position as per your foot comfort.
Watch the video on brake cleaning , position adjustment is a different one on same channel.

Yes, was about to share the same. Crazy indeed!

First part of the video is about the discrepancy of the tyres used in our 650 Twins. Since they come from Brazil it's only 3mm depth it seems, but the ones manufactured in Germany seem to have 5mm depth.

This even I noticed when I got the new Metzeler Lasertec tyre for rear since stock became bald in 9500kms for me. Felt new Metzeler Lasertec had more thread depth than our stock ones.

One of the reasons why the stock tyres have worn out sooner..

Yes these oem are from Barazil, but i measured the tread depth with a proper digital and analog tool of rear after 3000kms and it is 4.4mm . And i recently got front replaced with sports demon which is also Brazil and tread depth of new is 3.92mm.
I measured it at my friend's tyre shop and he said these are good numbers , rear depth is close to 4.9 or 5.1 mm in new and front is slightly less than 4mm.
We measured different new tyres from Apollo and mrf to check and another lot of German made front sports demon which he has that time.
