I had this MIL glowing issue on few occasions, each time nothing came out in the Re ecu diagnostic tool. First Time was near the first service then few times for short duration. This time it was on for 2 days but again no error code and more importantly Motorcycle is running fine.
So I tried few things and found the solution.
Made this short video on the same.

Anyone used/installed the ADVTribe Engine Sump-guard and Luggage tail rack with back rest?
How is the quality of the accessories? Any dislikes? Any issues?
Planning to buy both and install on my 1 month old INT650. Any suggestions?

Hello people. I'm new to the group but have been following the Interceptor forum for quite some time now.
I just came across a YouTube video on Royal Erado alloys installed on an Interceptor. Does anyone has any idea about how reliable these wheels are? And any stability issue that might occur?
        Posting the link below.

Rather not go for it, lord knows what quality these alloys are made of. Besides that youtube reviews are largely filled with crap and self promoting businesses so it is hard to find what is genuine and what is not.

Thanks for the quick response! And are there any reputed brands outside Royal Enfield that make reliable alloys?

              None as of now.
You can use way2tubeless by way to speed. It is economical than outex.

Just stay away from this kind of crap. There are videos on YouTube of such alloy wheels just disintegrating while being ridden. While looks are subjective I personally find them too gaudy and revolting. You will endanger yourself and others by going for such things.

Please stick with OEM spoked rims till RE comes out with alloys for the Interceptor 650.

                    Hey there,

Please don't do that, if not for the sake of sweat-soaken engineers who designed the bike, do it for your life! People have had some serious crashes at low speeds using this kindof stuff.

                    Ride safe!

I hope you are purchasing the insurance yourself and saving some money? Moreover if you are purchasing some accessories from RE you get 20% off, make sure you get that as well. And congratulations

All the basic stuff that needs to be checked, electrical, brakes paint work for scratches, peek inside the tank for rust, tyre pressure fill first if it is low(usually it is low from showroom).
More importantly clutch play 2 to 3 mm RE mechanic are fond of keeping zero play in clutch, also check seat for rattle(it does from rear side). Idle the the Engine and rpm should be 1100 to 1200 after warming up(needle bounces a little).
I suggest RE large leg guard coz the main bottom bolt is shared with Engine mounting and chassis that's why i purchased it from re and didn't risk the after market bolt with after market guard.
Sump guard makes sense if you plan to go off road too often otherwise it makes oil filter change bit messy and it rattles if not fixed properly also. Fly scree is only for looks not other purpose.

Ride carefully and wear shoes and helmet.
                        Good luck and congrats.

Thanks bro! Had no clue what all to check before purchase.

Does the zero clutch play bother in riding? I never noticed this on test rides.

About the leg gaurds, i dont know how RE got this bike certified without leg protection. Shouldn't it be mandatory? Which color do you guys suggest for leg gaurd, black or chrome. I think black looks jazzy!

                          Cheers!

Well you can get insurance from wherever you want , the showroom guys make some margin on it that's why they insist on getting it from them. You can buy from policybazaar and directly through various insurance provider's website/customer care. And even there you can bargain and get the quotes to be lowered.

All the major insurance providers are good, i have experienced go digit, iffco Tokyo, liberty Videocon, tata aig, futura genrali (spellings might be wrong) and got the claim passed without any issues.

Regarding the coverage, the IDV or insured declared value has to be 95% of the ex showroom value of the vehicle, anything more and you overpay on the Premium, anything less and you get less amount in case of theft or total damage of the bike.

There are many ad ons with insurance as well, nill depp/zero depp you'll be getting, also opt for consumables. Go check out go digit website, they have explained every add on properly there.
                            Peace

I got to know e-city showroom has two, Chola Mandalam and Iffco Tokio.

Let me understand these policies first. Then probably i go to my showroom with my laptop and book the insurance online!
Btw how much benefit i can get out of this exercise you think?

Edit: I am getting personal accident cover worth 15 Lacs and zero dep insurance+consummables cover of upto 2.87 Lacs for 20.3K on Go digit. Is this a dream? Showroom insurance is such a ripoff

You don't have to carry your laptop, a mobile would work just fine. Showroom owners are looking to make maximum profit, accessories, riding gear, insurance all make a nice profit for the dealer. And when we are making a purchase we don't think rationally and make decisions hastily due to the excitement.

So either get insurance on your own, or ask the dealer to match the online price, they do that sometimes, they'll say you might have problem while claiming, but that's not true, once you are out of showroom you are on your own.

And don't pay for the fitment of the accessories as well, some dealers do that. Go digit has good reviews, you can go with them.

                                P. S. During a purchase of a car the insurance difference comes down to 10k-15k
                                Peace
