Re: Suzuki Burgman Street Ownership & Experience
Im planning to buy suzuki burgman street 125 soon..!! Does anyone know when will they launch the bs6 variant of the scooter.? I heard bs6 variants will have additional features in order to justify the price hike.. Is it better to buy in 2020 because ill have better resale value considering the fact that i can buy 2020 manufactured one.. I need some advice on this..

Re: Suzuki Burgman Street Ownership & Experience
I would highly suggest waiting, almost all BS6 variants will have fuel injection which will lead to a decent increase in mileage. Plus I hope they introduce something better at Auto Expo 2020Originally posted by wardonz View PostIm planning to buy suzuki burgman street 125 soon..!! Re: Suzuki Burgman Street Ownership & Experience
Hello everyone, very recently I have bought a new Suzuki Burgman 2020 with Fuel Injection engine. Before making up the mind for buying this scooter, I took a test ride of the scooter, the test vehicle had less than 10 Km on the odometer and was an absolutely new scooter. The ride felt very smooth and without any vibrations. The acceleration and braking were both really good. Being impressed, I booked the scooter next day and got it delivered two days after on 6th July, 2020. However, after taking the delivery of the scooter, I immediately felt that there is a lot of vibration from the engine at low speeds mostly between 15-35 km/hr. I immediately reported this to the showroom, the service head explained that the vibrations are due to the new engine and which will gradually decrease after the first service. I have clocked almost 100 Kms in the last few days and the vibrations from the engine really worries me. Is the same issue being faced by any other other. I would really appreciate your insights. Thank you
I have posted some pics of my new scooter below

Hey Ppl,
I know i am reviving an old thread here.
But looking to purchase the Burgman 125 BT version.
Is it a good vehicle or should i reconsider my decision.
I am particularly concerned about the rear Tyre. I read that it skids a lot especially in Wet Roads.
If any one can throw some lights on it, will be much appreciated.
Thanks.

The Burgman is a great scooter by all means. The fact to keep in mind is almost all scooters will skid, depending on the riding conditions when braked hard, especially the rear. This is primarily due to the wheel design, small wheels tend lock up faster and skid sooner. The Burgman is a comfortable, and great all rounder, you just can't go wrong.
Cheers!
VJOnce upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

Burgman street- 5 years of ownership
I bought Suzuki Burgman Street 125 on 24th Jan 2019 in Matte Grey colour. On road price Rs 81000 in Gurgaon.
Have run almost 22000 km.
Avg fuel economy till now is 49.6km/l
During Covid when Delhi metro wasn't running,
this used to be my daily ride as my office is in Delhi. Usedto run 80km daily. Have constantly run it above 85kmph on the Delhi - GGN Expy and it is very stable and flickable.
Top speed I have touched is 108 kmph while coming back from office at 3am during Covid. It feels stable till 95kmph, beyond which the body starts to rattle.
Never faced any engine related issue till now. Serviced only at suzuki service center. Battery has been changed twice.
During winters I fill the HP power95 petrol for better performance and efficiency, and the scooter rides like a charm with great pull.
Overall great 5 years with the scooter.
Mods done by me:
1. Installed Jupiter's pass headlight switch.
2. Installed plug and play hazard indicator switch that I had imported from China through Alibaba
3. Changed the rear tyre to 110-90-10 MRF nylogrip zapper (Rs. 2300) when the stock one worn out after 20000km-- trust me it is the best tyre. Earlier with the stock 90-100-10 tyre the scooter used to skid. But since installing this one the balance, grip and drivability has improved leaps. Don't even have to ground my feet at 3kmph speeds. Saw the 120-70-10 also but felt it was too thick.
4. Installed the Liu hjg mini drive lights for Rs. 1200.- I felt that the throw of the stock headlight was not adequate. I only use the low yellow beam so as not to blind others.Last edited by Abhi1136; 12-23-2023, 09:20 PM.
