Will update on the engine after break in period. As of now I'm revving up to a max rpm of 5000.

This is my first bike and I have never ridden an FZ before. I rode my friends Karizma and Hornet occasionally.

Coming to brakes, I actually use both the front and rear brakes. Similar to the technique detailed in the braking thread of this xBhp topic The Art of safe riding https://www.xbhp.com/talkies/forumdisplay.php?f=156.

I learnt most of the riding techniques and jargon from xBhp and picked up a few from 'YouTube' and 'The twist of the wrist'.
Yay, Enjoy and have fun with your ride and drive safe [emoji106][emoji1]

how much does it return? To find near accurate figure perform tank to tank method. Just fill the tank to auto cut and ride it just like you normally would and after half to 75% tank is empty, go to the same filling station and same filling machine and fill it back to auto cut. Then Distance from last full tank divide by liters that you filled 2nd time is your near accurate average. My R15 v3 is returning nearly 55kmpl in half 70% city 30% Highway usage. Although its just 400km on the odo but the figures look promising.

Never heard from FZ owners getting fuel economy below 30 kmpl, lowest my bike returned was somewhat between 35-37 kmpl, imo. its either some miscalculation or some other problems (fuel station). Try refilling full tank when weather's colder, either morning or late evening and do check how's bike's returning fuel economy.

Hello guys, just completed my 1st servicing after 700kms and changed oil. Came back home and saw a lot of smoke coming from under the engine. Probably below the catalytic converter but im not sure of part names. I called the SS and they said its normal. Rode for a few kms again in the even and it started smoking again, a lot of smoke but it goes away after a min of shutdown. Is it normal?

The mechanic at the svc has dropped some engine oil , which produces smoke when the engine is hot. Wash the part with dishwash liquid and it'll diminish.

Happen to install this super awesome LED Indicator Bulb on my Bike and made a super interesting video of it. Do check it out, you might find it useful and interesting.

Hey guys, I recent bought a secondhand FZs v3 (2019 - BS4 model) exchanging my old shine (that too i was its 2nd owner). Since i am new to this bike, i wish to go through its owner's manual which it not avilable online as well as offline. So can someone post scanned copy (or clicked) of it online so that i can go through it? Thankyou in advance.

Just completed 1000 km break-in period of my FZ v3. I have not faced much of an issue till now. However, slight buzz around the tank around 6k RPM on lower gears. Although, that is not a deal breaker. Engine is quite smooth. Gear shifts are pretty slick. Cushioning on seat is ideal for city commute/breakfast rides. Returns around 48 km/litre (max~51 km; min~45km)
